When can I get my hands on this game? This looks absolutely amazing. Finally, it looks like the Alien franchise will be done some justice for the first time in a while. I can't wait!
I'm very excited by this announcement. Alien(s) are timeless films, and the development of a new game that could possibly recapture the hopelessness and frantic pace of those movies is great news. Hopefully they do the films justice (and the franchise, for that matter). I can't wait to hear more about this.
there are quite a few companies that would love to be in Microsoft's "sinking ship" situation right now. They certainly don't have the foothold they used to. There's a little thing called DOCSIS 3.0 (Wideband) that channel bonds multiple cable downstream channels to allow for incredibly fast download speeds (without the need for fiber to the home, mind you). I certainly lost countless hours and skipped plenty of school to play Super Mario Bros. It's a great game, no doubt about it. Even beyond the nostalgia, it's a genuinely innovative game that helped revitalize the gaming industry.
but they would be even better if MS integrated some tangible bonuses. They should have more contests similar to the Old Spice Challenge they did a while back. That being said, I've gotten much more play out of my games thanks to achievements. I don't know what exactly the drive is, but it works.
it's nice to hear they'll be removing XBLA demos from the Played Games and Gamercard lists. So far, the fall update is sounding very positive.

I must say...I am a huge fan of the Alien franchise. I've waited a long time for a game like this to come out. Hopefully they take their time and deliver a memorable and remarkable experience. I'm definitely looking forward to this one.
