I bought and enjoyed resistance 3, but over all i found it to be a bit of a letdown. There just seemed to be so much they could have done gameplay-wise.
I think fallout 3 kind of ruined the fps genre for me even thougj it barely qualified itself. afterwards most games just seem lacking in immersion.
I refuse to watch any video of the singleplayer campaign. That is all.
They dont make nearly that much. Id guess that at best they make maybe $10 off the sale of a new game if you factor in covering development/marketing costs, royalties to the platform provider and retail markup.
Seems to me that expecting some type of compensation ONLY if you plan to play a second hand purchased game online isn't too ridiculous. either shell out the money for a new copy, or pay the extra $10 to play online if you buy it used. If thats really too expensive for you ...
I'm ok with it. 95% of my guys are bought new, at original or reduced price. The other 5% are games I never really wanted but were impulse buys due to very good price ($10 or less).
you dissin the faux-hawk?
Video games have always been buggy, so much that quite a few could have been considered broken. The only real difference is that back in the day video games were much more simple and not connected, so we just had to accept them as is.
These days there are entire message boards populated by thousands if not millions of people dedicated to a single game, so even if you never experience certain bugs yourself you'll still know they exist. Add in the fact that now the develope...
iknowrite? People seem to think that anyone else who enjoys an something thay they dont is wrong. some people enjoy trophy/achievement whoring. i always thought having fun was the whole point.
lol, people are nuts.
that's ok for me. playing a game on anything but the hardest available difficulty feels like im not really experiencing the game.
*biding their time
Most of the time the customer isn't right, but they are always the customer. This pete guy did nothing wrong. The guy was being an ass and was responded to as such.
90% of games released are garbage.Fewer studios means less crap for people to waste money on.
So people who have are motivated by something that you're not are wrong? Shouldn't "the only thing should count" be fun, whatever that may be to an individual? I always kind of assumed that's what video games were for.
He was probably too busy actually working on his game the pst few years to. other doing interviews.
How was 8 "too different"? It was 7 with, in my opinion, a more tactical battle system due to having to draw and junction magic.
$44.99 on newegg with a promo code EMCKBKF86 and free shipping as always.
Nice.
Not a great deal. Newegg typically does deals on pre-orders. Got Resistance 3 and Battlefield 3 for $49.99 each with free shipping on the same day. They normally get shipped out 2 or 3 days before the release date.
This version was readily available in just about every store for people with a PSP. The original was the only choice for those of us without.
unless i read an article here on n4g stating that one of the devs acutally did die ill pass. im refuse to buy half assed sequels.
