You can't say that the PS4 and the next Xbox are current generation, and that its predecessors are last generation because they aren't even out yet. You can say the Wii U is current generation and that the Wii is last generation, but only if you're looking at Nintendo and nothing else at this time.
It's next generation in terms of coming after another generation, just to add on. Some people still can't see the difference between the two.
No it won't. They're choosing the same parts from the same manufacturer, and those parts will be optimized and customized to their Sony's/Microsoft's liking.

See, the problem with that is(in regards to the title), is that the PS4 and the next generation Xbox will have an extensive amount of games to choose from. The only reason the Wii U is declining in sales is that the name is similar to the original Wii which causes confusion, and that a lot of 3rd party developers have no plans to even develop games for the system.
If they did the Pokemon MMO, the Wii U would sell like hot cakes.
Pretty outstanding to say the least. Imagine how much production time they could cut with this.
I highly doubt they would make another Warhawk this soon, but it would be amazing if they did.
It really does make you wonder, I don't really think they can branch off from GoW considering the ending in GoW3.
