Why should we be worried? First of all, it's Naughty Dog. Secondly, if your current engine looks and runs great, then why not build from that and make it better? It would cost too much money to create a new engine from scratch.
It's still aggravating that COD outsells everything every year. Overshadows games, and the younger kids think that gaming is all about FPS games and that COD is the best game out there. What happened to growing up and playing Mario, Spyro, Crash etc.?
I remember that I always wanted flash carts back when I had a GBA since I couldn't afford all of the games I want :P. Parents wouldn't get it for me so I had to wait until they could buy the games lol.

Seriously, one minute you say you can't wait to get an Xbox One, you say that you're only going to get a PS4, and then you say you're getting both. Those two console separate or together are WAY more expensive than $199. Make up your mind man lol.
The story actually isn't that complicated once you know what's going on. It's actually amazing how complicated the story is, yet it all pieces together to finish off the Xehanort saga.
Improved visuals are always important as time goes on. It allows for better immersion when playing a game, as well as seeing the art direction of a studio or developer to express how they portray a scene.
I don't know why people bash the Xbox One hardware so much. The hardware specs for a next gen console are up to speed, but it's just an overpriced system.
Both consoles are easier to develop for, although I think the lead platform for development will vary. People say that the PS4 will be lead platform because of it's hardware and developer praise, while on the other hand the Xbox One has a lot of Windows features that can make the transition from PC to the Xbox One easy as well. This should be a really good generation for games, can't wait =).
I agree, the Xbox 360's UI notifications were better placed.
I honestly don't know why people bash GTA IV so much. Even though it's not as good as San Andreas or previous title, it's a great game. They tried something different, which is what developers who create popular franchises are afraid to do.
