There was a guy who spent 24 hours on a Twitch stream with the Vive on and didn't feel any sort of fatigue after taking it off.

So SSX Tricky on water :P.

I disagree to an extent. I personally think that it's a bit over-priced, but not that it "isn't worth more than 250". The two highest end VR HMDs out right now have two OLED displays in them with 1:1 tracking(meaning ZERO latency). I would say the Rift should be about $400, and the Vive about $600. As far as software goes, that will come in time, but it would be silly to say there's nothing good to play at launch. I'll be using Tilt Brush, Virtual Desktop, and playin...

If I would have known this I would have probably would have held out on a Vive. I know that the Vive is a better experience but this would be a steal for PC VR.

Clickbait title. It's probably not shipping until Thursday or Friday. People who pre-ordered just got the processing email yesterday(which means your card will be charged unless you paid via Paypal).

Actually I meant slightly overpriced. I actually think it should be $300-$350.

The PSVR actually is cheap for what it is. I would actually say it would be overpriced if it wasn't for the OLED RGB panel.

Excited for my Vive to arrive in two weeks. Thank goodness I already had a PC ready to run it or else it would have been PSVR for me. I'm counting on PSVR to get good virtual reality out to the masses.

"Who knows, VR might be so immersive with motion controls that me walking outside in GTA 5 and punching an old lady might happen in real life because I lost the ability to differentiate VR from life."

That made me lol. Anyways, people are saying that motion controllers are essential for VR. I'm most likely geared towards seated experiences since I spend most of my days standing due to work.

This interview with Shuhei pretty much answers everything.

If you already have Windows, you can build a nice PC for less than $700 that's ready for VR.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/n...

That was actually a build created by a Vive developer as well. I'm not saying that PC VR isn't inexpensive because it isn't, but paying $1200 right now is a bit overkill when you can upgrade later(selling the 970 for a newer GPU for example).

I'm getting a Vive too(April), but no need to undercut the PSVR. I was actually considering getting the PSVR and PS4 together since there will be a lot of content ready for it when it releases.

No the price of his PC with the specs he listed sounds about right, even with the things he left out. Motherboard, PSU, Case is about $250 all together. The other stuff costed him about $520.

I agree. I didn't expect the PS4 to reach that type of graphic fidelity. Looks really awesome.

I doubt it. I say for the full package it would be about $1,000 easily. For the headset alone it should be cheaper.

$599 :).

People need to understand that VR is something you HAVE to try for yourself. I thought it was a gimmick and compared it to 3d before I tried it. If you're a non-believer and have a phone with a 1080p+ screen and a gyroscope, get a Google Cardboard(from their website to avoid knock-offs)and try it yourself. That's just a taste of VR and I'm pretty sure it will leave you wanting more.

Tabloid design is not the way to go. N4G's current design is what made it unique. Should have improved upon that instead of doing a cluttered, overhauled version.
