screw mass effect 4. that arc is done. Bioware needs new sandbox friendly IP (in the ME universe would be cool).

why would it be a render? given it is about to be announced, and not a giant technical leap forward from Wii, as stated above it is just a reskinned, slightly buffed 7th generation Nintendo console.

5394d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

that's what it is supposed to be.

5394d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

maybe you got it because Nintendo confirmed it alraedy and will do the introduction at E3.

WHDI support would be nifty, you could then have it be plugged in an hidden so as to not mess up your home theater's aesthetics.

and how critical is it for Sony to fix it for that audience? not very. I'd argue that Sony's fixing it for the online dependent west.

won't be too much longer.. maybe in our lifetimes.

Indeed. However Blurays still allow a great personal movie experience on a large screen and in surround sound.

Where's the 8th generation of games to run parallel to that? Crysis 2 kinda shows how old 7th gen is and how it is not up to delivering the best gaming consoles should be capable of, especially for multiplayer that isn't limited like a 6 hour single player campaign.

That's what I think is creepy. But, powering your Windows 8 computer, if recognition took fractions of a second and was moderately intelligent about recognizing objects you own and use to interact with near and around your PC (still tracking when rotated etc) then that UI becomes much easier to use on a daily basis for anyone (even the disabled, pets etc).

probably easier for the PTO to recognize it as such.

I was blowing my nose when I read that title.. and nearly exploded because I was trying not to laugh. I hope this is silly on purpose and fake.

I do like the idea though of in-house PS devs being able to leverage PSN for IP related movies. If they could do it for 1-2 million including CG for direct download, I figure they'd need more PSN connected devices (NGP) to make it really work.

which half doesn't matter if it is coming out of Nintendo, who as ever are playing by their own rules. As far as I'm concerned they are late with respect to the HD era, so they are working the end of 7th shift taking advantage of everything the HD era means (hopefully it will also do 7.1 surround sound), and should be ready obsolescence if the 8th gets started and there are things it can't do or isn't designed for.

no, but it also didn't support 3D, still looked great.

5397d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

uh did you even play the second ME on PC? it was damn good.

5398d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

that too. But DICE isn't not a stranger to gameplay set in the future. Pity EA didn't pick up Bungie..

5398d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

it isn't the first DICE chip in either. Odd though, at first glance I expected them to help with multiplayer (doesn't appear like Bioware's mass effect team has a clue how to make a top tier online experience).

no I'd get one of those brain cap things or an implant and type with my brainwaves. arms are overratted anyway.

5398d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

I'll cut my arms off before podracing with outstretched arms to simulate 1:1 control

5398d ago 1 agree2 disagreeView comment

eww indeed.. podracing.. on rails?

5398d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

that's a terrible rumour! I thought it was confirmed to be on anything with a CPU in it so Activision can milk it for all the cash it is worth before finding some reason to legally rip it from Bungie's corpse before setting them all on fire.
