I sure am having a hard time finding them, considering the game doesn't come out for a few days.
It's already topped 1 million pre-orders, ofcourse it will dominate anything else in September.
There was something going around about the Gears logo being blow-up into a mountain, could very well be related to this.
I got about 1300 and bought myself an arcade game, you'll never got those points back now microsoft, mwhahahahaha!
But if it did happen to be some customer appreciation thing I am most happy :)
Nope.
I, for one, enjoy mindless mayhem with a customizable character. I shall be too busy annihilating enemy gangs with giant dildos to care that much for the world or story.
And that is the appeal of Saint's Row I've always loved.
I think someone might have been looking at the DLC by accident.
480 billion copies sold eh?
That's pretty impressive considering the world population is far lower than that.
Other than that, seems like a good move on Valves part if it's true.
I remember back in the day when games where compared because they were similar, not just because they use the same camera angle.
Crysis 2 pulled them off well.
You kill a guy, he drops a dog tag, you have to go collect it by running over his corpse.
As much as I agree with your point. COD really doesn't need it to sell gazillions of copies, it's most likely just to have one of those epic shocking scenes that players enjoy
@ATi
It's not quite as far behind as SA
but I do agree it isn't GTA4 standards
Winning a TDM with chainsaws would be pretty easy in all honesty.
I'm more curious as to how someone has some kind of green weapon skin
--Edit
Turns out it was just a pre-public beta unlock
There really was a Hammer at the top of Trenches?
Hmmm.. that makes me kinda glad I picked up Brink and played that instead.
Personally I hope they switch it back to the One-Shot
Number 4 makes me wonder if they played the beta...
As far as I'm aware, the Hammer of Dawn was not in the beta whatsoever.
and "Red blip on the radar"
.....what radar?
Interesting stuff, I've always liked these random trivia articles
I'm curious as to how many people ripping on it have actually played the game.
I see a lot of people comparing it to PS3 games which instantly makes me assume they're just (once again) siding with their choice of console.
Anyway, the voice acting of Gears is actually pretty damn good, some of the characters are great too. Just ashame the Marcus is very "stock space marine"
People need to stop complaining about the Sawed-Off.
Yes it kills easy, in exchange for only 5 Shots and an incredibly slow reload.
Anyway, all it takes is some Retro/Lancer fire to make it impossible to reach the killing range of that gun.
Don't blame the other guy for using a superior short range weapon when your trying to go at him with a Gnasher.
Skyline, Pier 17 and Parking Lot are all awesome
XP has been running all this week. Since the 13th if I recall correctly.
