Not "popups" like you see on your computer. Just a whale jumpin out of the water or ships (an opportunity to battle) in the distance. I honestly don't see how a whale jumping out of the water and almost crashing into your boat or a water tornado that sucks up ships and destroys them could be "annoying"

This games just looks SO promising. Looks as if there's going to be a plethora of things to do/see/discover. Ubisoft is smart. Every employee in every interview has said that this game is going back to the core mechanics of an AC game. (Like AC2 and brotherhood). The world looks massive. Can not wait for this game.
And don't mistake Ubisoft for one of those other companies that releases a game yearly. Try learned from ac3 and obviously made sure that this game is goi...
But Ubisoft has CONSTANTLY mentioned that "every thirty seconds we want to advertise something new to the player." Between harpooning, whaling, battling other ships, dodging water tornadoes or dodging the bases that try and shoot you down.... Sorry I just highly highly doubt that the 30 minute trip will be boring. But hey if you do get bored just tell your crew to start singing for you. Hahaha

I'm not saying Call of Duty did everything. I'm saying nothing ever was, and nothing probably ever will be as popular.
Hate Call of Duty all you want, (yes i know it sucks), but just take a step back and look at what the series did. No other game or series of games was EVER this big. People hate it for what its become and i agree with them, but when you really think about it, Call of Duty did the unthinkable and we're witnessing what is probably to be the biggest game in all of video game history. Give them credit where credit is due.

How about these people that say we need to do more to stop the addiction worry about real problems in our nation? Like drugs or poverty.
