This fanboy shit is retarded. It's like iOS fanboys vs android fanboys. If you like shooters and racing games, go Xbox. If you like action/adventure and Japanese, go PlayStation. Your preference is YOUR preference, it doesn't mean someone else's is wrong. Both consoles have positives and negatives, so stop thinking that YOUR opinion is fact, and everyone else's is fiction you bunch of dumb fu***
Well, you are obviously missing the point here. Nintendo is saying that dead pixels is a common trait in LCD panels. Common, maybe, but still a defect, not a expectation. That is completely, utterly B.S. if they are selling you a device that has a 720p screen resolution, but it has just 1 dead pixel, then the device, technically, isn't 720p, which in return means defect. I'm not sure I can dumb this down any further for you to understand the statements by Nintendo and what they mean ...
@Maybay
What are you talking about man, the switch uses Nvidia Tegra architecture.
@UTalkin2Me
Proof they are progamer

Transparent about their console road map, telling us at e3 they are launching a new system next year so people don't get pissed when they buy a xbox now, consumers know what they are doing in advance
LISTENING TO FEEDBACK FROM XBOX GAMERS AND MAKE THE NECESSARY CHANGES TO ACCOMMODATE THEM
...
The bitter end of the xbox brand. Lmfao. How do you figure xbox is dying. Theyre pushing ahead harder than they ever had. Xbox play anywhere, cross platform play, transparency about new consoles, always listening to feedback and making changes to the UI, forward and backward compatibility, etc. The fact is, Sony has not done anything to accommodate their gamers. You still can't even change your playstation ID, a request they've been asked to do for years. But microsoft is changing the...
Actually, xbox fans have known that the ps4 is more powerful, and I knew the cloud would not change it, maybe help a little bit that's it. Now, I have stated that dx 12 will also help too, meaning it would help the GPU run more efficient and as a result it would lead to better performance. When this whole power and Tera flops started, ps4 fan boys couldn't help themselves to note that the ps4 had 40% more raw power, but yiu know what, it did not show in games and it still hasn't. ...
How does sony win in the hardware category and the last category (neo vs scorpio), they didn't even show any hardware at all. Wtf. Lol. This article is definitely a little biased.
The ps4 can run vr at the necessary framerate, but in order to do that, the visuals have to be downgraded. It will be geared towards casual gamers. Oculus and the Vive are more geared towards hardcore, but are more expensive. This argument about the ps4 not providing a good vr experience is stupid, of course it can, just at a cost, that's where the neo comes in. Sony knows that nobody wants to play games equivalent to iphone graphics in vr. In order to push vr and keep it around they have...
To say you didn't have a problem cuz it's out of your hands is ridiculous. Both systems have their own set of issues. What would u say if Xbox fanboys said They don't have a problem cuz it's out of their hands
I did it on my phone. I just figured that things have to be spelled out for some people and made easy to understand. But most people on n4g are just smug and short with their answers
I don't know if psn is was down today cuz I was at work all day, but psn does go down more than it should. But in reality both services go down to frequently but psn is definitely down more. I see all these threads here that say "mines been up all day", but just because yours is up and running doesn't mean that there isn't a problem. What if you and your neighbor have the same internet connection but your neighbors internet is down and yours is up and running. Does that ...
Dx12 will allow devs to utilize the hardware more efficiently. If u use it more efficiently, then u can free up some resources to do other things. Not saying it will be huge but just saying it will improve. Also, the guy that wrote this article said that it has 4+4+1 cores. 1 core being reserved of course for redundancy and bottlenecks. But, I remember 1 core being reserved off the cpu which would be 3+4. Idk tho. Second, he said the Xbox 360 had 256 MB ram. He's wrong, it had 512 MB ram....
I could be wrong, and if I am pls provide the link to it, but from what I've researched gaikai has "secured" 100 servers in the U.S. That's sounds like they don't own them and who is providing the servers for them. Also, if they have secured 100 servers nationwide, then how does that compare to azures 1 million servers worldwide. I'm no expert on servers and how they work but azure is a 15 billion dollar infrastructure so it's hard for me to see that Sony with a...
Joeorc
I know Sony can do it, but we are comparing a company worth 350 million (gaikai), and azure investment past 10 billion. Microsoft is far beyond where Sony is right now with cloud technology. Sony lost money in every part of there business EXCEPT play station last year. The do not have the funds to build out a infrastructure equivalent to azure anytime soon, years away from that. Plus, let's just say that they both had 50 data centers, I GUARANTEE azure is much much...
Sony could do it. But they would have to have server farms spread out across the globe. The last time I checked, last year, Microsoft has invested 10 billion dollars into azure, and they are still building it. They are pushing to make sure that everyone is no more than a few hundred miles away from the server which will reduce latency. Whenever i play titanfall, for example, I will be connected to a server in Ohio, and everybody I play against is in that same server. Gaikai or Sony doesn'...
Once again, nobody is saying that the Xbox one will be more powerful. All we are saying is that dx 12 will be much better for it. Dx12 across Xbox and pc will be huge for gamers and your a fool if u disagree. Sony is using there own custom api based upon openGL. Sony will update there api, it's no secret. That's part of adapting to the industry. That's how graphics get better later in a consoles lifecycle. Not to mention, this so called cloud computing is real, but, it won't ...
Devs want more power and more assets available to them. Now, I'm not saying scorpio will be the go to platform for games from all 3rd party, but I'm sure it will most definitely attract a lot. Hardware IS what devs base their decision on to make games or not for a console. That's why the wii failed in 3rd party support. Plus, having dx12 baked directly onto the gpu, that frees up so much assets for the cpu to do more i.portant things, since it's a relatively slow cpu. Scorpio ...
