No. Having no competition is a bad thing. Say per chance that the xbone flops completely and the PS4 begins to outsell 10:1 sony will just get lazy and slack off.
Competition is always good, it means that all companies push to improve, and all companies keep on working hard.
Not going to lie though i would prefer it is PS4 sold more than xbone.

Just because someone's hardcore doesn't mean they have to buy every system.
I think i've had just about every system that has been released since i was born.
But i'm not going to pay £80 more for a console weaker than its competitor and forces you to buy a camera. And i'm definitely not going to give £430 to a company that would want to take away the rights that i've had since i first started gaming just to make themselves more money.

Massive rift doesn't mean "nobody likes microsoft" it means "at the minute sony has a lot more support from consumers than microsoft." The rift is a metaphor for the big gap of support.

I never said everyone one hates microsoft, what i said is that at the moment because of microsofts and sonys differing policies and other factors sony has a much larger audience and at the minute more preorders
Right now there is a massive rift between Xbone and PS4.
The only people microsoft have are extreme fanboys, who are ignoring microsofts anti consumer policies, people that like xbone exclusives (can't really see why, but there are people out there), and kids that like kinect.
Sony have both hardcore and casual gamers, fanboys, people that like their exclusives, people that don't care for exclusives, people that like camera features and people that don't like came...
I just hope suckerpunch don't stop at a trilogy.

Free roam games simply don't need multiplayer.
Linear campaign games such as COD do. But not free roam games.
When you've got an entire map to search through as much as you want and i imagine plent of things to see, do you really need a multiplayer with maps much smaller than the free roam map to make you want something day one?
What's even better is that with the hdmi cable (included) it'll be better than forcast.
Ahh. Thanks for the info. I haven't actually gotten my vita yet, getting one around mid september and wasn't really sure how it would work.
I'm glad that i won't be worrying about the overheating.
But it's even better knowing that i can leave my ps4 on for days, whilst i'm away and play my games on my vita.
The way i see it, is that those people will only upgrade when ps3 and 360 games stop being developed or ported completely. And that won't be for at least 3 years

Thief has been around for a lot longer than Dishonored. Yes both games have probably taken a few ideas from each other, yes both games have similar ideas behind them, yes in both games there is diversity. Does that mean that one is copying the other?

You may say that xbox cloud makes xbox better, but 1st microsoft haven't proved anything about the cloud yet and 2nd most countries won't get it and those who do, the ping of there internet may make actions powered by the cloud slow or ineffective.
Unless you have the backwards compatable ps3. But most don't.
I think the biggest advantage is actually the policies towards consumers and devs, making everyone happy with what rules they have almost always works in companies favour.
