I worked on a few concepts while working at the kindergarten, but we havent had time to actually develop any of them yet.
I was working on a few stories together with the kids and actually wrote down a few good ideas for a interactive book for kids.
Hopefully one day that will become a reality. First we need to get our second game done, and hope it will be a sucess so that we may continue what we are doing.

Thanks guys :-). We are truly greatful for all the positive feedback we have gotten today, youre AWESOME hehe.
We really hope to continue this blog even after Indie month is over, so that we truly can have a good interaction with you guys. As Alex mentioned in the programmers section of this blog, we really hope to do indept but basic tutorials showing you how to go about making a game both idea, graphic and programming on youtube. The plan is to show you guys how to make certain par...

Thank you. I believe that thats what exciting about creating somethig. Create something from the ground up and be proud to put your name on it. I would not be proud to scoop in money on lther peoples ideas.

I´m glad to hear that! We hope to make a lot more posts like these in the future :) There are some really interesting areas worth going more in depth, such as procdural content generation in indie games, and games in general for that matter.

We are actually planning on doing an educational series both when it comes to programming and game design in the future on youtub. So the educational and teaching aspects is absolutely something we are looking in to!

I totally agree with you.
That is why we set up the game so that you can earn everything you need by just playing the game. And there is no popups or anything that makes you push anything you dont want to push.

We have set up a ingame store so that you can buy credits and keys etc so that you dont have to play and unlock awards to get it, but thats a choice the player makes for themself.
There are no hidden things in the game that tries to trick you into using...

Why thank you :)

Thank you.
Its real hard to be completly unique about an idea, i think thats impossible. But one can do your own thing without copying other people on purpose. And that is much more rewarding I think :)

I´m sorry if you all found this a bit too dense and technical, its challenging to write about programming without getting too bogged down or nerdy about the technical stuff. But I´ll keep in mind for future articles. I hope it was of some use though! :)

@RexDD: Haha, I´m many things, but I´m not a prodigy. I guess this is what happens when you live in a small village with nothing to do and a ton of computers and technical nick knacks around you. :) Coding can seem intimidating at first, but anyone can learn and get good at it, as long as you have the interest.

Its good to hear that you guys like the "behind stories" hehe.
Iam going to share a link to a gameplay video of particleboom later today in one of the threads here on n4g.com so you can see what the game is about :-)

Thanks guys.
We will post a link to a little video showing what particleboom is all about. Its hard to see just from the pictures, and its abit hard to explain the whole concept. Well, not hard maby, but its easier to show it. Hehe. Its actually pretty basic gameplay, but we focus on having many factors in the game that makes the player play it abit like "they" want to play it. And its actually very tactical, you have to think about alot of things if you want to master the ...

Thank you Derek. We believe its important to give back, and help people who needs help.
I have to be honest, i dont play alot of games either, because there are so much crap out there.. But we are trying our best to make games that are fun and real.
Its possible to make good games for mobile aswell, but i think its to easy to copy other peoples work and portray it as your own. apple and google should be more strict when it comes to whats being released on their stores, and ma...

Thank you guys, we do our best. Hehe
We are basically two people working full time, one programmer and one graphical artist who makes all the visual stuff. We also are lucky to have a guy with us from time to time, and hes an important asset to the team.

When it comes to ParticleBOOM! there arent alot of actual particles in it, atleast thats not what the game is about. There is a physic engine which spray out graphic (particles as we call them, because they are named ...
