This last in the market thing is so silly. Last in console sales? I don’t think that’s the point of gamepass. The point is to make money. More people have smart TVs than subscribe to Netflix, but I believe Netflix is doing much better than many smart TVs manufacturers
Game pass isn’t profitable? $300 million a month (and rapidly growing) in revenue isn’t profitable? You really think they’re paying game studios a total of $300 million + per month to have those games on there. Doubtful. Also, nobody believes that you’d rather pay $60 for a game so that you can say you own it
I have have a full time job, a wife, and a child. I still get my money’s worth out of gamepass.
Ps5 has nothing either. At least Xbox has gamepass so I get upgraded versions of tons of good games I didn’t have money to afford last gen. And then I will get actual AAA games and not crappy movies with a little gameplay mixed in

It’s competition. It’s good for consumers. PlayStation has plenty of exclusive studios. It’s good for gamers. Competition makes games better. Sony and Microsoft are competing for your money with their exclusives. It’s the main differentiating factor. If all games were on all consoles, you wouldn’t have Sony and Microsoft putting money into games. Putting money into games makes them better which is good for consumers. Microsoft buying some studios is not going to give them a monopoly. Gamepas...

I play PlayStation exclusively and even I know it’s silly to compare ps now and ps plus to game pass. With Microsoft acquiring Bethesda, pushing back Halo, and taking their time in forza Motorsport, it is hard for me to believe they aren’t trying to push out true AAA games on game pass. Hopefully this pushes Sony to try to match the quality of games on their own service so I’m not stuck paying $70 for one really good game instead of paying $70 for a year’s subscription where I may get 2-3 AAA...

You're telling me you prefer charging your phone every day (or multiple times per day) to having to put AA batteries in your phone once every 3 weeks and not having to charge at all in between? Since cell phone batteries and the cheap PS5 battery are not equivalent, it doesn't work like that, but you get my point. If PS5's battery lasted 1/4 as long as AA batteries last in my xbox controller, I would probably prefer the rechargeable ones. But I would rather not have to stop play...
