The desing of this game kinda reminds me of Everyday Shooter, but Myriad is much more great looking! Also the "destroying worlds" concept seems like to be a lot of fun! I only need a gameplay videos now
I like the metaphore he did by comparing videogames developing to a RPG world, where he constanly try to "explore" new parts of it and being an innovator developer.
By the way, nice to know that this is coming to Vita! I'll get a copy for mine when Myriad is realeased
I'm loving those giveaways of Amazon Gift cards! Hope to win one this time
Wow you have a great parental system in Sweden. Also I know that is all the system (jobs, transportation, public services,...) that work great there. We can only dream to have something like this in Italy!
By the way good luck with the next game in SteamWorld series! I'll check it out when it's ready ;)
I would like to get the code for PSN EU(Italy)/Vita
I would love to play this on my Vita! Seems a perfect game to play on the go!
I would like to get the code for PSN EU(Italy)/Vita
I really like steampunk style and the esploration part of this game makes it very interesting to me. Good to hear that this had success and they are planning to do a sequel
I would like to get the code for PSN EU(Italy)/Vita
I think it's a good idea to bring it to consoles
I'm not a fan of shooters but this game seems fine for the FPS genre lovers
I like the fact that he seems to focus mainly on gameplay experience, with a simple design
Today we have a combination of pretty unique games covered by the blog! I'm loving more and more indie month! I hope there will be other months like this in the future. If I can give a suggestion how about a month dedicated to Japanese unique games/developers that are maybe also not well known? Something like "Crazy Japan Month", how about this?
I like the twist that Ernesto gives to the dungeon-crawler games and I already added Storyteller to my personal list of most anticipated games.
This developer, with those two titles and the past one "Today I Die!, has great ideas and brings innovation to game industry, a thing that is really needed nowadays. So Daniel, you have all my support for your future games!
So Daniel had the idea behind Storyteller when he was a kid and now he made it real. That's awesome! I love the idea on interacting to stories and use your own creativity to make a twist to them. I see that is limited this time but this will have really a lot of potential for more "complex" sequels. I'll support the game and I hope this game will have the success that deserves!
I played Today I Die, it was short but it gave me chills. The music and the meaning of this game makes it so emotional. In my opinion this is important in a game... and is the thing that keeps it in your memories for long time.
Also Storyteller has a great concept that reminds me a little of Scribblenauts, where the player must complete a goal, regarding a small story, with his creativity.
Keep the good work Daniel!
I like games with great storytelling and this seems like one of them! also I agree with Mike: videogames are art!
Kickstarter is really helping a lot of talented game developers nowadays! And your next project, Golem Arcana, looks promising! I will check it out, maybe for my iPad
My friend has this game on the iPad and it's an awesome turn based strategy game! I like the fact that they made it less linear
I love this! So nonsense and funny that can entertain people in a way that usual games can't. Games like this are true gems!
This short is so hilarious! I want an Octodad tv series now! It reminds me of Mr Bean, just even more nonsense
Hahaha what is this game? Octopus simulator? This is crazy and so awesome! The suited-up octopus is hilarious. Another successful kickstart project
I agree with you: games are art. Too bad that a lot of people don't recognize them as a form of art and sometimes bash them. Also it's a pretty new field to explore, compared to other arts, like Erlend says, so there's still a big room for improvements and innovation.
If Katamari Damachi is your best ispiration, then I have to play your games! That one was one of the most crazy, weird, innovative and fun game back when it was released! I simply love it!
