After having call of duty and a sports game on the list i have no interest
I think people get so wrapped up in statistics of day one sales or total sales so far without taking into account people have different mindsets as gamers, its not like all of us rush to get a new console. Im buying titanfall for the 360 and buying the xbox one when a new gears of war game comes out, loads of people are doing this or their waiting for the new fable or the new halo.

I like the look of this game but i feel like all of the levels should be bigger, the city should be bigger and the general public should react or interact more with garrett. Im going to buy it but it feels like lost potential.

The violence and muscle is not the issue, as good as the story is they all always miss out on the opportunity to give more depth. Apart from doms wife and his ending as well as marcus and his fathers story the game lacks a bit, which is a shame because the books and comics tell vast in depth stories.

This article is disappointing, why should me and all the other gears fans get no more games out of the franchise. Cod and battlefield fans get games, gears of war has a lot of potential and can only improve after judgment, gears story could be told better however its gameplay is still unique and unmatched.
Bottom line is if you don't like gears don't voice your opinion, its not needed focus on the true enemy that has had way to much influence over games.... cod.

To be honest gears of war has so much story that is untold they can easily make more games as long as they improve the story telling. If they put in some new game mechanics it will do well and as long as they treat there game for what it is unique and not like a fps it will do even better.

I do not have an xbox one but i want the next gears game to be for next gen only that way a year/ year and a half down the road not only will the xbox one be cheaper but gears will be at its absolute best without being dumbed down to fit the 360.

However if it is made for the 360 as well its not going to stop me buying the limited edition and exclusive console if its made.
Also if FFA has to be in the game (i hope not) make sure the maps are not butchered to compensate for it, keep smoke grenades as the spawn nades set, make sure the game releases with at least 8-10 maps, get rid of the hip fire reticle and really push for a more in depth story.
