Nothing is fishy. It's just one person's opinion at GameSpot. Looks like that person liked it enough to give it a 9. There is nothing fishy going on.

@ orchard. The Xbox division did not make a profit. Microsoft did. I know it doesn't matter because MS owns Xbox. But Xbox is not profitable right now. Maybe with the massive investmestments that MS has made, this will change in the future. But as of right now, Xbox division is not turning a profit.
For comparision's sake, Sony Q1 of 2020 broke records for earning over $1 Billion in profits. The highest amount earned for a Q1 in the total history of gaming. It's...

Sorry, my initial comment was in regards to the xbox division, not for MS as a whole. Basically MS is carrying Xbox on it's back. I guess that's why they tried to double the price of Xbox Live, but back-tracked after gamers justifiably went crazy.
Well isn't that dandy. If they're making so much money from XBox division, then why don't they just buy Konami and Capcom? I mean the Xbox division is just printing money right? /s
XBOX division did not make that much or anything close to that. MS in total, made that much. MS are a massive company and well done to them. But lets not start thinking Xbox division is a money maker. They're in the red.
