Man, another game I simply must get. I have bought so many PSVR2 games as I'm sure a lot of PSVR2 owners have as well. This is a good problem to have this early in PSVR 2's life-cycle. I'm very glad Valve and Meta are in the VR space. Whats the saying? A tide raises all boats? I forget, but that really does apply in regards to VR. That is why I believe Valve really need to release Half Life: Alyx on PSVR 2 and vice versa with Horizon: Call of the Mountain. It's for the good of...
Yeah but VR is all Meta has to worry about. Sony has console owners out there. Sony has..
- 120 million PS4's out in the wild
- 40 million PS5's
- and only just under 1 million PSVR 2's
This opinion piece is more akin to comparing apples and oranges imo. Sony didn't have a VR showcase. They had a playstation showcase. Not even 1 percent of sony consumers have PSVR2. You could argue that is a reason they should have shown more. But ...
The statement in the title, that the game is confirmed, is currently a rumor. It shows that, becasue it says it's a rumor in brackets. The game being confirmed is the rumor. It's thought to be confirmed because the Playstation VR 2 logo shows up in that official trailer from the actual studio developing the game. In the summary, it says it's seemingly confirmed. Because according to the official trailer, it 'seems' that the game is in fact coming to PSVR 2.
That's weird.
According to lots of people, Sony's showcase was bad because a lot of the games shown are coming to Xbox
Now suddenly the Quest Gaming Showcase was amazing, even though most of the games shown are coming to Playstation.
I don't get it.
The fact is most of the VR games shown in that showcase are coming to PSVR 2. So doesn't that mean their showcase was bad?
I've already got multiple years of Plus in the chamber. I'm fully loaded

@ sagapo Well the title is saying that the game being confirmed is a rumor. In the summary it also says that it is 'seemingly' confirmed, meaning that it's not a verified fact yet. But the video is giving the impression that it's coming to PSVR 2.
It's came out before Myst and it's similar to that. You walk around a haunted mansion and solve puzzles and open secret doorways trying to piece together what happened to the people there. You can unlock bits of the story of the past inhabitants and watch it unfold in front of you. Yes it's good and it's considered a classic PC game from back in the day.
This isn't some press image. It's an official trailer they released on twitter. If it was a mistake, then why wouldn't they have just posted the trailer that you all got?
I mean do you think I should change the submission to rumor? But then again this is an official trailer the developer released.
EDIT: I changed it to rumor
You gotta love EA. They've always got their finger on the pulse of the gaming community in regards to the wants and desires of the players /s
It's extremely nostalgic for me. I played this so much as a kid on PC. So glad it's now confirmed for PSVR 2. This is a serious day 1 for me. I don't care what else I'm playing at the time lol
I'm glad this was confirmed for PSVR 2. I remember playing this game as a kid on PC. This is now in my top 3 most anticipated PSVR 2 titles
I played the original on pc so many times as a little kid with all my bros, but I have zero clue what the game was about, let alone the characters lol. So I'm all good. I really hope this game is great *fingers crossed*
Oh man me too. Played it with my brothers as a little kid. Loved it
I heard the story was extremely bad on this. Bad and boring dialogue on cut scenes. I think I recall that from SkillUp's review
"It will take players on a historically accurate adventure whilst exploring themes of female empowerment and diversity." oh god. Most likely a pass now
Aah man this shit funny 0:16 look at his hat?
LOL the controller. That's something Greenburgers would do if the deal gets passed
But how many people worked on and developed a game back then compared to how many work on them now? And how long did it take to develop back then compared to now? What were the total development budgets when compared properly? There are other variables at play to decide whether $70 now is too much when compared to back then. Don't you think?
He deserves to go to prison. He knew it was wrong, and he did it anyway. His greed far outweighed the obvious risks of being caught.
Awww, you didn't need to announce your arrival
