It's the fact that your prgess continues over. In my opinion, this is paramount for selling people on a game. I love that they did this. Destiny did this in the past and it sold spectacularly well
What metric are you using to say that Xbox is on top? I 100% disagree by the way and it's not just a feeling. The actual numbers speak for themselves. Actual profit. Actual metacritic. Actual numbers sold. Actual 1st party games released so far this gen. Actual user numbers. Xbox doing fine but they are not on top. Phil said it himself and so does their company, Xbox is in 3rd place. Last gen and this gen.
