TLOU2 is a Masterpiece. It was my GOTY. I'm also not some progressive leftist either. Politically, I lean RIGHT. I just enjoyed playing the game and letting the story that Niel created take me where it wanted to take me. It was an amazing experience. Loved the game and the story and the emotions it brought out of me. Never experienced anything like it in games in my life. Well deserved win imo.
Any poll open to the public, on the internet, has the potential to be hijacked by bots or anyone on a crusade. That would be the WORST way to judge anything. Haven't you seen the countless times polls have been hijacked?

Just because they weren't shown at the shitty Game Awards, doesn't mean they're dead. The rumours were just rampant speculation and guesswork. Sony are keeping their cards under wraps. Still could be real, just haven't been shown yet.
