It probably does but I don’t think this game was as hype as eternal in general.
Eternal got released for pirate pre-cracked day of release for free and sold very well.
This time around I personally just played it on game pass because I wasn’t feeling it as much as eternal.
Yes, I’m sure his apology has nothing to do with the fact that this could hurt his sales lol
Maybe they just knew it wasn’t good enough compared to the switch and steam deck. The uproar now about cancelling it will be less damaging to them then actually releasing it…

It looks decent to me. I think it looks worth a go. Sure, it might not be that super high level of polish as a GTA but it doesn’t look a bad game…

@Eonjay There was a time we used to expect each generation to be better than the last. Smh. You think people were sharing your same sentiment when we first went from ps1 to ps2? Or ps2 to ps3? Now people actually defend the state of gaming as it is and accept mediocrity. It’s sad to see. Especially if you were there at the time. The buzz for gaming was something different!

I was honestly expecting a quake game this time around after eternal. Dark ages is alright but it’s not hitting the same highs imo. I think doom needs a rest
