There’s no way a game built from the ground up in VR is worse than a game that was made in VR as an additive…
As the generations go on… the games get worse… more infrequent great titles. Especially AAAs that truly push the hardware… I’m waiting on GTA 6, I feel R* are one of the very few developers left in this day and age that can hit a title on all cylinders.
What is the point in a PS5 pro when we don’t even have enough games now? And basically none that push the hardware… we are 3 years in, and all we really have is Demon Souls remake seriously! God of war ragnarok, Resident evil 4, etc are all on ps4 anyway. And even with spider-man 2, I feel it’s a ps4 game at heart but was just made exclusive for business reasons. Miles morales was on ps4 so why couldn’t this? We have nothing even pushing the current hardware as is. There’s no point at all…
But we don’t have great games anymore! That’s the damn problem! 2-3 a year tops!
Or… you should leave the S in line with the last generation to avoid new gen games being held back because of the hardware!
I do think it looks boring not going to lie. Some parts are impressive and I can see a whole heap of work, passion, dedication, creativity, etc has gone into this. But it just doesn’t look like a great game. I’m sorry
I bet it’s good. I’m sure the display is getting closer to what we want VR to be. I’ve always thought we are not quite there yet… still pixelated. This could be a game changer… micro oled. I’d love to see it… I do hope someone manages to get PC VR running on this someway just to see the experience…

I didn’t like the twin snakes just because of the voice acting being inferior to the original. Gameplay was improved but the magic was lost in the story compared to the first game imo…
Honestly I was kind of hoping it would be going for a more MGSV route to transform and widen up the original game instead of a shot for shot remake… but I’ll still take it I suppose…

I honestly don’t mind them taking as long as they need as long as it meets those expectations and sets the bar for all open world games. Take 15 years if you need it. Just make it the best of the best!

A system is only as good as it’s games…
Playing it right now…. Honestly to me it’s a little disappointing. It is a BOTW reskin with new abilities but the same layout of how things play out… korok seeds, shrines, even 4 “important points” to visit just like in botw. It’s still good because botw is good but it definitely feels like almost the same game…
2 and 4 were always my favs of the franchise so at least they did those justice lol. I just thought the nemesis in 3 was perhaps REs greatest villain, shame they didn’t do him justice :( but at least we have 2 and 4. The best ones
I’ve been waiting for a game like this for so long! This is genuinely like the best game I’ve played in about 3 years! Rare gold in this generation!

I agree. Never thought they were all that. Even thought Max Payne was over-rated at the time of release. Alan wake 1 started strong but became boring a few hours in, never cared for any of their other releases.
