When you can fly over Los Santos and destroy buildings with each individual brick having its own particles and physics or when you can tear up trees with each leaf being individually represented with roots and soil reacting like it would IRL, then we have finally reached the end game when we go into holodecks and virtual reality.

I'm usually the worst for getting special editions but why would anyone spend that on one game? Worst amount of money I ever spent was a lifetime account for lord of the rings online and I would never be that silly ever again.
Highly doubtful. Only way I would accept this is if the console got a major hardware boost at their cost.
I agree, all the "180s" have been nothing short of a pr disaster and an embarrassment but I think both the ps4 and xbox one are going to be the most competitive yet in terms of MS trying to recapture their share of the market. Good for competition, good for gamers.

Dealt with xbox twice, the main one was when I bought a slim line 360 (gave my old one to the missus) and Game gave me a used Microsoft points card in the bundle. Between Game and calling MS from the Game store I got it all ironed out in 10 minutes, Game gave me another card and Microsoft to apologise for me having to go back to the store gave me a bonus one because the original card you could see the number through the scratch panel.
Poor timing IMO should have done it the day before or after, if the rumours are anywhere near right about a GTA mmo like multiplayer then it will be forgotten.
My 360 will stay very relevant in my life despite my xbox one preorder, I've managed to pick up a "Gaems g155" portable gaming environment so I will be using my 360 for Gta V around the house, in the car, on holiday, at parties etc.
I miss PS exclusives but I can never buy from Sony ever again on principle from when I had major problems with both my psp (original) a full TV and surround system with customer service being pretty much non existent.
Not interested at all, Es is always a Pc purchase for me because I like to use mods and cheat commands to make the game my own.
Exactly right I haven't heard of anyone anywhere asking this... If you don't have an xbox one I have no reason to talk to you over chat unless I'm Skype calling you.
I know rockstar shunned their e3 stand, but any chance of them showing off Gta online around this time?

I will be getting a dedicated headset but the video showing the power of the noise processing in the Kinect impressed me.
Really can't see why anyone would hit "disagree" with my comment or yours. Surely people are not that deluded by brand loyalty (xbox & PS) that they can't see its good for both consoles to succeed and have a healthy competition.
This actually pleases me as a soon to be xbox one owner... The more Sony push them the more they will do to win back sales, the more features they will push and they will try to compete. Same for Sony, it's an exciting time for the next gen which we missed when 360 launched early.

I hope not! I've pre-ordered the day one edition and was hoping to pick it up same day but I'm in London for the million mask march. Hope game do their midnight launch so I can pick it up before I leave.
Would have preferred a code to download a launch game of my choosing. Call me strange all you want, I live in the UK but don't like football or fifa, plus because of EA's foolishness I'm stuck with the new NHL game on xbox 360.
