Amazon gave me $19 trade in for the regular edition of MK on PS3. So for only $1 more, I got the Komplete Edition. Not sure how much they are offering now, but I did it as soon as they price matched GameStop.
Also did this Arkham City. Got $21 trade in, and bought the GOTY for $30.
I've only got Vita Platinum, and it's for Lego Batman 2. That game was extremely easy, as most Kego games are. Some of the Minikits were a pain to find, even with the locator. And the only walkthroughs I could find were for the console versions. So I was on my own.
Could this be Sony's strategy? To push the game back for a next gen title? A R* Exclusive Tirle would definitely be a system seller. And if it's a launch title, the PS 4 would fly out of the gates.
If I were to get the Wii U versions of games, I wouldn't just want a port. I would want an experience that incorporates the Wii U's multi functions.
Previewers are already saying that Assassins Creed looks the best on the Wii U, but will the second screen be used for more than say, a map?
But what if it's free to PS+ members? That's the only way I'll end up playing it. The end if the year is coming along with a log jam of games.
If that's the case, then if Fable is an "on rails" game like Arkham City, then it will be great. Those are some "on rails" experiences I can get behind.
D'oh! Why did I buy Elite. All I wanted it for was for the DLC.
A little while back, Amazon had the Pre orders on sale to match toys r us I believe. I preordered it on the Vita for $29.99. It doesn't include any DLC like the ones on the PS3 and 360, but it does come with a $10 credit. Awesome deal for those that caught it.
I'm kind of glad it got pushed back. The original Oct date would have been bad for me since October is packed with releases for me. Dishonored, Ratchet Collection, 2 Assassin's Creeds and Need for speed. November isn't as crowded with only COD, Medal of Honor, and maybe Halo.
If they offer free games, then I'm fine with in game ads, as long as they aren't too frequent and don't pop in at bad times, like middle of combat.
I play the free version of DC Universe Online, and every once in a while, after a safe house load, I get an ad for something available as DLC. I don't mind it since it's ads for in game items and I'm getting to play the game for free.
Just like my free copy of Motorstorm RC for the Vita. It was sponsored by ...
I wonder if Blizzard can track and post how many mouse clicks there are going to be in the first 24hours. Would really like to see those stats. Even if I could only see my personal stats.
I desperately want matchmaking for coop so I can play with others, and a full team. Going at it alone is exhausting running from one side of the map to the other.
.... I know, I have no friends.
The Witcher 2 was released in 2011.
But there is still Borderlands 2, Assassins Creed 3 and depending on the improvements, Resident Evil 6. That's not to mention if Naughty Dogs release The Last of Us, this year.
It seems to me that he is talking about MP maps being free. I would assume that skins, and coop maps would have to be paid for. And that's where the GameStop Limited Edition comes in. It includes a couple skins, a coop map, the game's soundtrack, a PS theme, full download of Warhawk(PSOne) and an exclusive Homeworld lobby.
If those extras are worth it to you, pick it up at GameStop, if you couldn't care less, pick it up wherever it cheapest.
Capcom is responsible for one of my All Time Favorite RPGs: Destiny Of An Emperor on the NES. It's where my avatar comes from. JRPGs at their finest.
I was hoping Amazon would do this. I just figured they would of matched Gamestop's sale and only include Sony 1st Party Titles. Instead, they have most of the releases available. I ordered Hot Shots, Rayman and Lumines. With no tax and free 2 day delivery, will arrive along with my Vita on Wednesday.
Yes. This is what I hoped happened. Gift cards, or in Amazon's case, a credit would be awesome. If they also match the Buy 2, Get 1; then I would be able to get a solid games collection started.
Memory card and screen protector are the only "extras" I'll be picking up. The rest goes towards games.
I can see them doing that to entice some buyer What I'm hoping for is a credit from Amazon. I'm planning on getting the Wifi Vita, the 32gb card(because I own a lot of DownloadedPSP games) and at least 1 game. A Video Game credit would help eat some of the cost.
Where's my Kingdom Hearts Collection?
