The game engine is called "Frostbite." DICE is the engine creator as well as another EA studio. (They do the Battlefield series as well as the upcoming Battlefront).
Not all EA games use Frostbite. Granted, a very large number of them do.
People don't play the multiplayer in these games because it's usually shit. If the idiots actually created a single player experience that wasn't shit... guess what? People would play it. Make a good game and the players will flock.

People act like ME3 is some abomination simply because it failed to meet expectations. Did Bioware drop the ball? Sure. At least they semi-fixed the issue with updates. ME3 could have been way better, but it is not a bad game by any stretch of the imagination.

While I do agree that a "forced" Kinect is slightly annoying. I wouldn't say the statement is incorrect. Microsoft developed the Xbox One with Kinect integration, you can hardly expect them to just ditch it.
I agree with all of you guys; however, there are a lot of people that simply don't understand what is going on with next gen. Microsoft lost their focus and many casual Xbox fans don't really know what to do. This launch window is going to be an interesting one to watch unfold!
