Very true the only difference was the 360 had a year head start over the ps3. I wonder if MS were to launch the xbox one a year later after the ps4 launch would they even stand a chance?

The crazy thing is those other 3 hitters u mentioned are in development. Im excited to see how all 3 turn out. Gears alone can persuade me to buy an xb1 depending on the reveal but if i do, would also love to play sunset overdrive and quantum break.

Yeah kinda tough to leave out 18.5 million userbase that is growing FASTER then any console in history. I also can see alot of 3rd party exclusives landing on ps4 like the ps & ps2 days if the ps4 continues this sales surge.
I hope they make a new DC Universe Online. Would love for a DBZ Online MMO. Imagine doing Raids & Strikes in a DBZ MMO. I can dream.
Edit: Just the thought of fighting Broly in a boss battle seeing him go Legendary in a Raid would be EPIC. The mayhem would be off the charts.

Thats a tough area to sell because its pc land but i would not be surprised to see the ps4 have strong numbers there. Like u said, it could either be a normal launch or it can be a huge impact.
The problem with BC is sony did that with the ps3 with early models and not many ppl bought it because they said the console was to expensive & alot of ppl just wanted a cheaper console. Sony takes out BC & makes the console cheaper and thos same exact ppl complained why they took it out smh. My thing is if u really wanted BC u would have bought it at launch. U cant please everyone.
Im on the same boat but there are many titles i still have not played for the ps3 and just having this service is pretty cool if there are games on the list i never played before i could go back and try them. Always good to have more options & its not like were forced to pay for it.

Gameplay is obviously what u want in a game but games like The Last Of Us & Bioshock Infinite show that u can have both and sum. See the problem with Destiny to me compared to a game like DC Universe Online as an example is Bungie & Activision are taking away features that are needed to progress in the game like strange coins for users who haven't bought the new DLC. Yes u can still collect strange coins but it takes alot of grinding and your not guaranteed strange coins. They basically lock users without the DLC to weekly heroic strikes & nightfall which is the best ways to grab strange coins and rare item...
