Oh I totally understand your reasons and im sure your not the only one that feels that way & maybe like the tv app that microsoft has to offer and thats cool. Everyone likes a product for different reasons but for me as a core gamer none of that stuff matters to me because I hardly have any time to watch tv and dont really care for it much anymore. I stream everything on my laptop and ps3 so i rarely watch tv but I totally understand where your coming from and thats what choices are for. ...
Gosh that trailer was bad azz.
Wow 3 gb is alot but no surprise if the xbox one uses windows and all those apps. SMH
Thats just the problem. Later is not a good answer. We want it now so if they dont bring it to e3 then say bye bye to alot of potential buyers.
All we can do is hope but this is a crappy way to start off any hype.
Kind of hard to get excited with them not showing much. Im not even a big fan of COD but seems like that was the highlight of the reveal. Hope they get it right at e3.
Lmao, damn they sure said tv alot haha.
Guess there are going to be tons of these articles tonight, not like there has been any yet but oh well.
That still sounds horrible. Just scrap the whole thing and let gamers let their friends/family members play it free. Also the installing part sucks if u just want to play it from a disc. They should have just gone digital if this is the case. Everything just looks like they are pushing us away instead of hyping us up. Im kinda disappointed now that ive read all the things I missed watching.
They clearly show where most of their focus is on and its the masses. I hope this doesn't turn around and bite them in the bum & with a not so good reveal, its a bad way to start off, hopefully they can bounce back at e3.
I understand they are fighting used games and all but that freakin sucks if all our games are tied to one account. Hopefully you can use your account on multiple systems like the ps3 so u can share them with a friend or family member.
I honestly think the sony reveal caught microsoft off guard but sony was definitely ready to showcase its reveal because they actually had games ready for it. In response microsoft seen that they had to showcase their own system to try an convince gamers why they should buy the Xbox One instead. Problem is if your going to reveal your system atleast make sure you show off some games that you can only get on the Xbox One. Instead microsoft put most of their money & faith in 3rd party games...
I would too if I had money put into this reveal. To see sony jump up 10% is a slap in the face.
I have nothing against microsoft as a company but my biggest fear for them was the approach about them trying to be more a cable box then a gaming console. Dont get me wrong, its great to have new features and im all for it but seeing the way that microsoft have been pretty lackluster in the last few years with new ip's just proves where their focus shifted too. Yes they did have some of their blockbuster hits like halo 4, gears judgement come out but thats to be expected like mario, god ...
Thats the thing about these devices, if your going to have it shown off, make sure none of this happens.
Edit: Misread it. Well live stream has always had problems but I dont own kinect so I wouldnt know but sucks for those who had problems.
Great saying but for me there is also a saying that "Money Talks" and we know microsoft has plenty of it but the BIG question is, "Will Microsoft Use That Money To Showcase A Great Show At E3 With Big AAA Hits?" Everything is up to microsoft if they will bring it with vengeance or throw in the towel and show they arent about the gamers? E3 is right around the corner.
I did not watch it, I was at work but reading the comments, I see a bit of disappointment in ppl but I honestly wasnt anticipating the reveal to be their big showcase for their games. If im not mistaken greenberg (sorry if i spelled his name wrong) stated not to expect their big guns until e3? The reveal today was prolly for the masses and part 2 which is e3 will prolly be more focused on the core & casual gamers. Thats what I think but for now seems like their revealing wasnt so good so ...
Its just a friendly tug of war between 2 titans. Its good friendly competition.
I think the last of us multiplayer if it is as good as Lead Art Designer Nate Wells says it is. It could be a big distraction to the new xbox reveal. Everyone wants to see how the last of us multiplayer looks like. Microsoft & Sony are straight going toe to toe. So excited.
I think its because of cloud gaming and the tv services they will be offering. They want to take the cable market aswell and to do that your going to need all those servers to run it all. They definitely want to push the cable tv thing really hard with what we know so far. Now we just want to see the games and e3 will be the place for them to it. I just hope that they dont start off with a bang the first 2 or 3 years then forget about us and focus on something else.
