I hardly think the rumour is "killed" for Gears 3 on Ps3. Microsoft only had a contract for the first 2 games not a third, and I think Epic may consider going multiplatform.
Plus Microsoft isn't in the best financial position to go shelling out another $50 million (a rough guess) to keep a game on the 360, no matter how important it is.
It's a good thing I didn't bother doing too much before the patch. Criterion should have said trophies "might" be retroactive so people wouldn't spend hours playing for nothing.
Besides that I don't like the way that to get a platinum I have to buy a playstation eye, that really takes the p!ss.
And don't forget Eurogamer, they're always spot on with their reviews I think.

Too true, the new gears butcher locust is a blatant rip off from the Ogre Kingdoms race in Warhammer. Fact is if they get the combat right and fluid this could be fantastic.
So I guess this is what MS means when they say they'll "Explore not exploit" the halo franchise
This is why I don't particularly like Microsoft as a company, their answer to everything is to throw large amounts of money at something and out spend the competition until they give up.
I find it amusing how there's an article titled "Metal Gear Hotties" directly under this one. I don't think there's any danger to children from this(there's far worse they could find on the internet), but for the medium to gain any serious mainstream acceptance developers need to stop acting like adolescent boys and tone down the cup size. Maybe that or they think this is what gamers want, either way it's insulting.

The lighting going over the dash looks fantastic. Showing the hands changing gears or hard turns would be even better and add to an already stunning looking game.
Who cares what the Guardian think anyway, gamers don't turn round and go "I must know what the Guardian thinks about this game before I buy it"
