I just noticed not two hours later the price went up to $30. That's pretty lame that it doesn't even last a whole day.
Damn, that price for X/X-2 is really tempting. But still going to hold out for black friday/cyber monday sales to hopefully snag it for $20. It's a great game but still stubborn about spending money on a game I've bought in the past.
Maybe if the dev's actually implemented changes that everyone kept asking for on reddit, over and over and over again, they could have saved it. Instead we got lack of communication, garbage changes to the first game introduced in TD2, and long waits between content patches (which didn't add anything people wanted).
EA wouldn't move the entire team to a new building with all that new tech if they were going to shut them down, would they??
For real. I played over 150 grudgingly long hours trying to get through XBC2 hoping it would get better but the combat never did. The story and characters were great but god damn I was either bored out of my mind during combat or hoped it would get better. Towards the end I just pushed through so I could be done. Wasted half the time I played just doing side stuff that didn't even make anything more interesting.
I never played the first XBC so I have no idea if th...
It does look pretty fun, however when they show Thor right away, I'm just thinking about how he takes out like ten enemies at a time in the movies. Instead here he is just doing one on one. Hopefully he gets some big ass AoE.
Is that image half way down the article the new xbox dashboard? If so, it looks gorgeous. Hopefully the update improves how damn slow all the menus are currently.
Tales of Arise isn't listed anymore. =( Neither are any other preorder games that I could tell. This list of games is pretty crap actually. I was hoping to get cyberpunk in there.
Is there a section on game pass that filters by games that are leaving soon? I keep seeing this mentioned but don't see it anywhere.
Is darksiders 3 worth getting for $20? I've played the other two, heard good and bad things about this one.
Hopefully, I didn't realize they gave Strife a model already, I haven't played Darksiders 3 yet. Strife needs his own game to finish off the series.
I hope this doesn't count as darksiders 4. I want strife to get his own game as well.
First game was definitely janky. Animations felt really stiff compared to how some enemies were quick as hell. The levels were extremely small and cramped while being a maze leading back to the safe zones like DS1. Hopefully the areas are bigger and more roomy.
Could someone explain why the 3rd game is so bad? I've not played it yet since my funds are limited, but all I hear is people dumping on the game. Why was it so negatively bad?
No kidding. This game required countless hours of group play to even remotely get to higher levels. So much time spent in the dunes to get passed that stalemate area of the game. It was a great time back then, but nowadays the MMO's that come out are much appreciated with how simple/quick it is to level up and get around the world.
I really hope it doesn't play like FFXV combat. That was already bad/boring enough not being able to control every and choose when things happen. All they needed to do was update the graphics and leave the rest alone, maybe add some new content like I've heard rumors about.
Damn that looks cool. They need to port over the other expansions to the Xbox already so everyone can play there too.
I never did finish the original game on ps2 but I remember the gambit system well enough. I know the game felt like it was supposed to play itself kinda if you did it right. Do you have like a recommended gambit set up like you were referring to or maybe some website probably has a good setup.
How great is the job system in this? I've not played it since the original ps2 and stopped after forty hours or so.
Damn, can't wait to see what they have to show.
