Listen thts complete bs their inteface may be diff. and liking tht is a matter of preference but last time chked most of these games dnt have dedicated servers and your exp. gaming online on ps3 is the same as on xbox so stop the bs this isnt 2006.

But yeah some haters say"but but you dont keep your games" which may be true but i do keep thse games massively discounted as a plus member. That doesn't disappear . That alone is worth it to me. Sometimes plus members get up to like 40% discounts thts awesome .
By the way my stab was at Microsoft as well in terms of hyping these sales. They left many gamers to dry as well.

Im 34 and still gaming hard. Most my friends on my ps3 list are in their late 20's or 30's and enjoy gaming more than the average youngster because they have the ability to buy all the new games and really have cool setups.

You really think these ppl think that games will be rendered in 4k? I think ppl just want it to be 4k capable like the ps3 was 1080p capable so they can eventually watch movies and netflix in 4k eventually a few years down the line.
Ppl on here kill me you dont have to be a rocket scientist to know that even if the ps3 is 4k "supported" games wont be 4k and we are lucky if half the games are 1080p.
Metacritic is the biggest sham in gaming everyone knows that. They way they pick and choose which reviews to include is ridiculous and not consistent. They have been asked before and they don't even give a clear explanation.

Specs matter point blank! And specs are not just in relation to graphics!!! pushing specs is pushing alot of things game related including as someone mentioned scale, scope, particle effects, graphics, length of games, framerate, etc......
If you dont care about specs keep playing on your sega genesis, wii or ps1.
Crysis 2 was boring and generic as hell. The mp was meh so i hope this one is alot better.
By the way the Ps4 i believe will sell for like 400 to 450 and still pack a punch given how cheap blu ray drives are and Sony sells consoles at a loss. So youll be getting a system worth probably like 500 to 550 for 400 to 450.
I game on an optoma hd20 1080p projector with a 120 inch screen so the more resolution the better for me. My 720p games still look good on a big screen but you notice a huge difference when im on the ps3 menu screen and i have 1080p res wall papers or i play 1080p supported movies.
There are so many reasons im looking forward to getting a ps4, but the main reason is to see and play the next gen Sony exclusives. Most are so good now, especially visually that one can only imagine how good theyll look on the Ps4 regardless of the leap in tech.
Man another game i cant wait for is a Souls game on next gen consoles i cant even imagine how it will be being they did such an awesome job with the Soul series already. I wish the original creator would do a Demo...

Im on ps3 bo2 and rarely have issues, but last night during split screen it had horrendous lag and pauses i was like "wtf".
