I agree as well, and that's sort of what I hinted with in my #5, I really don't like how it seems they just take out parts of the game, that "should" be a part of the full game, but sell them on the side for some extra cash. That's why I'm probably going to Gamefly the game (since their PR company ran out of review copies), and if I decided to buy it, I can at least get it for $20 off.
Yea, the death and destruction, millions die thing, does help make scale by itself. Although it would still be cool if they found a way to bring back some sort of planet exploration aspect.
Because the mod decided to fail mine even though it was up hours earlier >.>
What Snake-Doctor says is also true.
You have to go to OnLive's website (just google it) and then create an account and download their service.
Yes, as long as OnLive doesn't go out of business that is, but they've been going strong for over a year now
Please elaborate on what is left to be desired in my reviews, feedback is greatly accepted!
Yea I agree at all your comments. I really enjoy games like dragon age origins (not 2....definitely not 2) and how it tells the story, as well as other inventive games like Mirror's Edge. But I just don't want anymore generic FPS or anything of the sort, previous generations were just...more fun.
Too many words in those replies so here's a simple answer: Nope
I agree that "A combination of previous elements can be innovative". Brink was innovative in the way that it tried to be different, sure it could simply be described as mirror's edge and tf2 combined, but it was still trying something "new" and I personally count that as innovation, a game can be innovative, or at least try to be, and still have bad execution.
I would assume it's because you don't have fast enough internet and/or are too far away from their servers....
Oh shit you just reminded me my membership is almost up!
Yes, everyone will rage, while I sit here and wait for Sony to fix the problem which, as he pointed out, wasn't there fault in the first place! Sony doesn't owe you guys anything in forms of compensation, the only reason you should get compensation is if you play one of the MMOs or if you have that premium PSN membership, if neither of those are the case; STOP COMPLAINING YOU WHINY LITTLE KIDS AND WAIT FOR THE *FREE* SERVICE TO BE BACK ONLINE.
I agree, I'm probably just going to get Saints Row instead of GTA 5, more fun.
XNA is a pretty good starting point, and there are a lot of tutorials. Couple that with it being free to develop on PC and it's actually a great starting point.
