I agree, when I played God of War 2 on the PS2 I was blown away with the graphics on that game. I am very excited to see what those guys can do with God of War 3 on the PS3 this time around.
If you are on the fence about buying this game, don't look at the american reviews, go look at the japanese reviews
Its very rare that JRPGs get very good scores from US sites, simply because most of the people that review the game here in the US don't enjoy that particular genre, so they give it a very low score.
I have seen many great JRPGs get horrible scores in the US that deserve 85+ scores.

If Sony ever did that it would only make the already fvckhead reviewers even more spiteful and even more unfair then they already are.
Sometimes the 360 version does deserve a better score due to having achievements,or looks better.
What makes me angry is when they give better scores for stupid reasons like controller preference. (do you think Game Trailers will give Street Fighter 4 a better score due to a much better D-pad on PS3?)

I don't think that the 360 will be able to keep up with the PS3 in late 2009 early 2010.
The 360 is not really a next gen console, so when the next gen games start to arrive (Killzone 2, GOW 3, Heavy Rain, MAG, Grand Turismo 5)will the 360 be able to keep pace with PS3?
