Turn 10 lost all credibility at E3, so why would anyone believe Turn 10 when they say something as asinine as the 360 is not maxed out.

The reason people are being so harsh on Forza 3's graphics is because they said repeatedly that there is no game with better graphics this generation, and we all know that was a huge lie.

Those screen shots only show that GT5 is better in the visual department.
If you have played the Forza3 Demo you would know that Forza3 has Need For Speed Shift type graphics.
You should stop trying to trick yourself into believing that Forza3 is a better game. Lying to yourself is just as harmful as lying to others. you deserve more than that.
That wasn't a sad moment for me, it was more of a holy $hit I cant believe that mother f-er just killed his own family moment.

Didn't Halo 3 have a 25 Million dollar advertising budget?
Sony would never spend that much on advertising 1 game, they would rather throw an additional 22 million into making the game better, and 3 million for ads.
If Microsoft would of spent the additional 20 million of that 25 million on making Halo 3 a better game, instead of using that money for brainwashing the world all day on TV, than it might be close to deserving the scores that it got.

Gran Turismo will still have hundreds of more cars than Forza 3 will with or without different model variations.
You will have multiple types of the same car in Forza 3,so I don't know why you are trying to pretend that the Gran Turismo franchise is the only one that does that.
The fact that Forza3 will have SUV's in the game means you cant really downplay ...
Even though I could live without damage in Gran Turismo 5, you are absolutely correct about the reviewers docking a couple points for something as simple as damage modeling.
Eurogamer would dock 5-6 points for it.

Point is that the damage looks and reacts like absolute garbage, no matter the settings.
Having the damage turned all the way up to full, does not improve the crash physics visually. It still looks very very bad.

The only way the 360 will ever outsell the PS3 again is if the 360 cuts its price again,and starts making quality games that we cant play on the PC or PS3.(it would take 10+ years for Microsoft to catch up to Sony in 1st & 2nd Party Studios)
