You say fully featured, I say bloated and confusing. PS3 XMB visual design was perfect for me.
I think games absolutely have reason to innovate, because they all still compete with each other.
What doesn't have to compete is the platform itself. There would theoretically be no need for the platform to ever upgrade because there's no "better ship" to jump to.
I think in some ways it is, and other ways it isn't. Yoshi-p is mainly wanting to get rid of instances where a gamer wants to play a new game, but can't because they need a whole new system. He also says that porting and optimizing games for different platforms drains time that could definitely be used for better things.
Objectively, these things would be improved.
Obviously, there are downsides. I'd rather have physical games still, and rea...
I think some of these comments are aimed at the headline and not Naoki Yoshida's actual thoughts on the matter.
He doesn't seem satisfied with the current state of cloud gaming/streaming, only that if we can eliminate lag and stuff, that it can lead to a type of gaming industry where a developer can reach 100% of their fanbase due to no console exclusivity.
Ultimately it just seems like his "dream" is to not have division in the gaming...
It's the most profitable final fantasy game, best reviewed mmo, and was one of the most watched mmo's on stream sites this year. I'd think that's a pretty important game even if it doesn't feel it to you.
Should of went with "U-riginals" but I ain't your marketing manager.

Whoa whoa whoa, very not true! The ps3 era games were great, and in particular A Crack in Time is considered one of the best in the series. Many devoted R&C youtubers rank it as their number one or two.
I take it you haven't played the original?
Basically Pokemon Snap is like a cool hybrid of being an on rails first person "shooter" and a puzzle game.

Oh yes! Waiting for reviews has been interesting since it's such a long game. But I'm glad the reception seems to be much stronger for this expansion!
Unless they add their own way to chat with PC players, I'd rather they just partner with Discord like Microsoft did for the Xbox. I play Final Fantasy XIV and chatting between ps4 and pc players is the most challenging thing.
This is cinema. Keep it in the game for april fools or something. I think this is amazing.
