I'll let you in on something: Back in the glory days of Nin-64, It took a team of an average of 18 members to develop a game. The Market was yet to be saturated by sony and microsoft. Basically when a game hit the market and sold millions, the people that worked on the game (eg. DiddyKong Racing -team of 12 I believe) all got a shit load of money in royalties. They were all minted. They bought homes, sports cars, some even had some cosmetic surgery and so on. I believe that they all got c...
I went to college, applied, was interviewed, got the job. If you find it so hard to believe you must have a low opinion of your own life. I've since moved away from AAA games and would never look back. It's not glamorous (most people in the industry are social misfits)And it doesn't pay as well as it used to (before the market was saturated and royalties dropped to a worthless low) Believe me I did work there and still have friends there.
As an ex employee of Rare, It's nice to see that they're finding themselves finally since the Stamper brothers left. The departure from Nintendo killed them for a while. M$ didn't know what to do with the talent and practically the entire company was chucked onto PDZ to get it done on time for the 360's release (which was incredible on the cube, then ported to xbox, then 360, and progressively got worse until release) There's a ridiculous amount of talent in those barns, I...
Very embarrassing to watch. Not a fan of motion controls anyway but that looks the goofiest out of them all. Id rather have a white TV remote or a big illuminated man-bulb to play with, than wobble about like an octopus doing Jazz-hands on crack.
Camp clown. Just plain clown.
The emperor's not wearing any clothes!
This dude's a Marketing consultant ffs!
I used to think the sun shone out of this guys ass. I used to think Nintendo were the SOUL of real gaming. I fought tooth and nail to get my wii on its release date. And now, I realise that nintendo have shafted me. I bought everything they put on the shelves. Consoles handhelds, toys and games.
I read last week, Reggie telling the world that the reason nintendo have f-all mature games is, to paraphrase, 'Cos we just don't like to'
Now... whats this? There's f-all motion plus game...

Is this definately the xbox version? because it was ported over from the gamecube after MS bought the company...
That was an abomination
I Find it hard to believe this. IMO it's a blatant shopped image. The depth of field looks like someone selected the top half and hit blur. As for the stretched textures and blockyness of the shoulder.. I can't imagine that a studio would let that be committed to the game, even for a demo version.
The problem is that these 3d trainwrecks still sell. Probably due to the fact that Sonic X the cartoon is widely viewed by kids across the world. My son for example loves sonic and has almost all of the recent games. I don't allow him to play them anymore because all I can hear is "This stoopid camera!!!" They should sort out their games because it seems that they don't care too much about the fans. Plain to see from the half assed titles of late.
I knew it was big but... Damn thats twice as big as my pc!!! wait.. is that a pc??
That artcle was a waste of time. I found it as useful as a nail in the testicles.
