I've said this to Torrence and I'll say this to you...
* Wipeout HD is sometimes 1080p native (it has a dynamic frame buffer).
* GT5P is not 1080p native in game (1280x1080 at a 1080p signal), but is 1080p native in the showroom / garage scenes.
* VF5 is not 1080p native (1024x1024 @ 720p and 1024x768 @ 1080p).

A FPS (First Person Shooter) seems pretty clear in being what it says on the tin. A "shoot-em-up" is also pretty well defined in gaming-lore...
