Wow... this person go hosed...
Flaunting a nice gaming system for Alienware like money???? really??? this is fail and the reason people say gaming computers cost too much. MONEY IS TIGHT??? REALLY??? i almost never post on this site and this made me angry enough to do so... please leave PC gaming.
Admittedly I did spell “censorship” wrong. But I don’t have to worry about my government saying what I can and can’t play because a 15 year old can’t play it. I guess me misspelling a word makes me arrogant, but what I don’t understand is why are you so angry about it? I was more making fun of the fact that your whole country is web filtered as tight as some communist countries. Well good luck.
I mean seriously. Thats some scary stuff. If i were to live there i'd protest or something. I agree with band1t... it seems very undemocratic.
Up next for sensorship... anything were someone dies or has mean or angry feelings for someone.
Good... need more fallout... Great story, and a great setting. Makes for a great game.
Stardock is one of the few good guys when it comes to PC Gaming. They are the ones that stick up for gamers with the no-drm policy. I will buy this game if only to support Stardock. I planned on waiting to buy it, but after this news broke, i'll buy it right away. Pirates are a freaking joke.
Yes i was a gamestop manager once, and there really are many things to hate about that company. However, I think this thing is alittle out of control, because the handbook that they cited for this story is incomplete. When i read it, it said all of those things AND that you COULD NOT take new games home. My employee's weren't allowed to test games that were not used. Now just like employee theft, i'm sure it happened, but i gamestop the company didn't allow it.
It should matter to you, becuase it matters to the publisher. Simple as that. If the publisher doesn't want to release a demo or something because it will cost them, then they won't. That means YOU don't get those things. Now, i'm not saying 360 is any better, but to say, "meh, at least i don't have to pay for it." Is really retarded. YOU will pay for it... one way or another.
I also heard he played Monopoly and Sorry! Should have seen this killing coming i guess. Or maybe he lost alot at monopoly and was mad at captialism and bombed an American Embassy.
IF WE ALL JUST STOPPED PLAYING GAMES THERE WOULD BE NO PSYCHOS!!!
Who cares. If it's a good game with a stable fan base it doesn't have to be a wow killer. I hope this game lasts though, because there would literally be no limit to what they could do.
"System shock spritual sequel" was one of the taglines for this game. So yeah...
Ummm.... Bioshock is the "spritual" sequal to system shock.
I'm a PC Gamer, which by default makes me a 360 fan i guess. But i can't think of a single reason this would be good for Bethesda. This is great news for x360/microsoft, but i'd be pissed if i only owned a copy of fallout 3 for ps3. What the hell, give them the damn patch. I agree with other people that this should have been included from the get go.
I'm a total nerd and a pc gamer. I love building computers and do that for a living. However, Nothing... and I mean nothing beats the warm touch of my wife. People having this problem need to reavaluate their lives. Computer over woman? ARE YOU CRAZY??
Terrible. I mean how can they ban you from a game that you bought and then not give you your money or anything. I guess this really is only a rental.
We have to get out there and tell these damn companies that we don't want this DRM Installation crap on our computers. If stardock can go full out with no copyright protection at all why hasn't anyone followed suit.
I just fear, and i do fear this, that casual gaming will take the little dollars left away from the hardcore multi-million dollar games. I understand it makes sense for companies to spend 100k on a game and it makes billions, but i don't want the art of a good game that engrosses you for hours in it's world.
Yes, Amazon does, however, it's $130.00 compared to the 65 dollars of the UK CE. The difference i guess is that in the Amazon version, you get the bobblehead and the pipboy clock.
As a person who builds linux servers for a living, i'd say that for the average user, Win7 is better and easier. However, I would agree that Linux > than old vista. It's just that you have to know what your doing and the average end user / gamer knows just enough to be dangerous and not very informed. Just my opinion.
