I will agree that all these Definitive versions are concerning...I hope they are only filler until the good stuff comes to fruition.
It is cheaper and more powerful...of course it is selling more. Also it will have the better games. The gap between Xbox One and PS4 is only going to get wider.
It does have the potential to make improvements, but the hardware difference will always be there! You can put a nice spoiler some great tires and adjust suspension on a car...that will improve performance but unless you seriously change what's under the hood you wont see significant gains.
The same correlation can be drawn with the PS4 and Xbox One
The PS4 is simply more powerful.

Well if this gets a remaster I will pick it up on PS4 as I never played it on PS3, I loved Indigo Prophecy and Heavy Rain.
