It's not a buyer's guide. It's a Fanatec ad. While there aren't many quality options for the XBox 360, they didn't focus on any that are currently available besides Fanatec's line of products. Why make a buyer's guide when you don't have many of the current budget wheels available to review?
How else do they release a game every year? It WAS a great strategy when you think about it. Each game would have essentially a 2 year development cycle even though a game would be released every year. The problem was, Call of Duty 4's multiplayer formula was so successful, Activision is so cowardly, they wont let the developers deviate from what works, what sells. And the developers have just ran out of unique ideas to reinvent the franchise.
Yeah I think it's pretty much down to this and Zelda for Game of the Year, for me anyway. With this fall dominated by shooters it's great to see some traditional RPGs make a huge statement this fall.
By the time the review embargo against the major gaming media is lifted, the game would have already sold millions at midnight launches. Review scores wont have mattered.
I don't think Modern Warfare 2 is the better game. Black Ops may be the most balanced Call of Duty to date but it's just boring. The maps, weapons, killstreaks, it's just not fun.

And XBox 360 gamers don't have as many if not more great games to play this fall? Rage, Gears of War 3, Forza 4, Batman Arkham City, with Modern Warfare 3 and Halo CE Anniversary in a week. XBox 360 gamers have far more quality choices this fall than PS3 gamers given than all PS3 exclusives save Uncharted 3 this fall have been mediocre. So what exactly is your point!?

I'm assuming you're referring to the stellar exclusives for the PS3 this fall like Reistance 3 (mediocre, flop), Ratchet and Clank All for One (rubbish, flop), Payday The Heist (utter rubbish, massive failure) and Uncharted 3, the only real exclusive of note. Buddy, you're either delusional or lying because anyone who's played the PC version and played the console version will tell you, they do not play the same. Map size on the console isn't just smaller but feels restrictive with many more choke points and CQBs. There is a tremendous amount of screen tearing, pop-in and framerate drops. It may not be a bad a he's making it out to be but it isn't as perfect as you're trying to convince people either.
I know right. I was just about to say the same thing. Not the best comparison. Bad Company 2 actually looks better.
Metacritic for Battlefield 3 on consoles sits at 84. 9 points behind the PC version. Yikes! Hopefully, it goes up in the following days as more reviews trickle in.

The player count and map size is what makes Battlefield, Battlefield. It plays different to the CQB, choke point, firing range fps on consoles.

Not everyone has $500 to invest in a Fanatec wheel setup. Fact is, only a small percent of the Forza 4 community are hardcore sim racers and more than likely play sims on all platforms so a Fanatec wheel is an investment. What about the other 90% of the community who just want a wheel for the immersion and fun factor? Their are wheels priced from $90 to $250 with and without Force feedback.
