MW3 was the weakest of the franchise, mainly because it added so little, it was hard to distinguish it from MW2.
Treyarch always seem to put much more effort into keeping the franchise fresh so I'm excited.
Becoming stale is exactly what is damaging cod the most (which was bound to happen when you release sequels this often). So it makes sense when people hate on Activision, I do myself from time to time.
I reckon the franchise wou...
With Rocksteady putting so much care and effort into their last two games I'm not going to just jump to the conclusion that Dini's departure means failure.
Yes there's a chance the new writers may do an inferior job, there's also a chance they may do a better job.
So for now I'm gonna place my faith in Rocksteady.
Vga is cringe-worthy to watch imo, always comes off so unprofessional and feels like none of the people involved in it have any respect for the industry.
We really need a new world wide video game award ceremony that does it better.
British Baftas for games is a good one though, less cheese, more respect.
I'm mainly excited cause Reach disappointed me, and I've been a halo fan since day one, I just didn't like Halo Bloomfest edition. So here's hoping this game feels more like classic Halo, certainly looks that way so far.
I thought it was pretty much a given that nextbox would be out holiday 2013, I'm surprised people are still debating this.
Plus with cod being the biggest thing in console gaming right now it would make sense from a business standpoint to release next gen alongside the first next gen cod, ie november (Cod's annual release schedule). That way they can guarantee maximum release day sales of the console.
I also think the chances of the nextbox being...
FFS now infantile discussions over sexual orientation are infecting games I love. Gay, straight, bi, seriously who gives a fuck. I'm excited for the game and sexual orientation of any of the characters doesn't bother me and it shouldn't even matter at all.
I think the saddest thing is we live in a world where companies have to worry about this kinda stuff simply because of un-evolved simpletons who like to spread hate. I for one am gonna try to avoid acting lik...
It would be nice but so would a free Ferrari with every console, doesn't mean it's gonna happen. It would be a horrible idea from a business standpoint, and would limit pc developers to the limits of the console or suffer losing sales. Which would basically just have them releasing console games, which is what they already do! Except with added bonus of damaging the pc gaming market.
Come to think of it this article is nothing more than wild speculation, how did i...
Man I would love the next gen to be a collaborative console release, all this ps3 vs xbox nonsense has been really annoying thus far.
Pachter is just a guy with opinions, that makes him an industry analyst, people keep mistaking it for a profession, it's a hobby. If you pay attention to an industry and then speculate on the state of that industry, that makes you an analyst by default, whether you do it in a blog or just at home among your friends.
It's weird how this guy keeps getting so much publicity and I find it annoying that people pay so much attention to him when he's just a guy with o...
As a fighting game fan, I felt rejected by Capcom when they released SFXT, so the idea of Capcom actually listening and respecting their fan base is a bit too far fetched for me. From what I've seen of this game it looks like a shooter not a survival horror, which I find disappointing as fan of classic RE.
I plan to buy pre-owned to avoid giving Capcom money. (Out of spite more than anything, need to make up for the money I lost buying SFXT)
Apple games, like other games, but three times the price and ten times the pretentiousness.
I think kinect sold as well as it did through curiosity, people buy it (I know I did) cause the idea is interesting and makes you wanna have a go. Unfortunately the novelty wears off and then the device becomes nothing more than an ornament.
Microsoft need to stop chasing the casual audience and instead focus on introducing non gamers to the world of gaming, the trick is to increase the size of the core audience, otherwise people end up feeling neglected.
anything in excess is bad for you, hell water's good for you but too much and you drown
There's no morality in business, if it makes more money than it costs to make, then it is profitable and therefore worth doing.
Not all companies understand the importance of customer satisfaction and respect (I'm looking at you Capcom), there's other that go to great lengths to treat customers right (cdprojekt for example). But in the end it all depends on how we respond and moaning about something while still grudgingly buying it has the exact same result as ...
Isn't one a video game and the other a film?
Or am I completely insane
?
Yeah it is common for people to give up in the early stages when making this full game size mods, here's hoping though.
Ino how come religion never gets any bad press every time people commit massacres, and then specifically attribute it to religion. Yet somebody commits a massacre without even mentioning video games and that somehow means they're to blame.
Whenever something bad happens there's always some retard who points the blame towards video games.
Never mind factors like poverty and crime, disenfranchised citizens in an corporate society, wars being raged across the globe on a day to day basis or one of the ten gazillion factors in 21st century life that make us who we are.
Just blame it on the games, one of the few actually good things in the world today! Fucking pisses me off when I see this...
I don't mean anything that extreme, that's on the complete other end of the spectrum.
I just think it undermines the hard work developers put into their games, anybody can stick breasts on a product. But shouldn't we be buying this game based on the time and effort developers spent putting it together, as opposed to Juliet's cup size. It's as if the developers are saying "who cares about gameplay? BOOBS!", There's plenty of ways to satis...
Not used to companies treating customers with respect, probably my fault for buying games from Capcom.
