I played it in 3d and while it was cool it was very clear to me what sacrifices were made to make it work

for those who disagree look at how many enemies you faced at a time in Uncharted 2 vs its 3d counterpart Uncharted 3, Same goes for Killzone 2 and 3

Thank god, 3d is cool but it's not worth the sacrifices that have to be made to make it work on current gen consoles

Big fan of the MGS series so it's an automatic buy for me based on story alone. My only concern is how it will manage to stand out gameplay wise against Splinter Cell Blacklist

My issue with 3d gaming is that it shouldn't be done this generation, while the effect is cool it comes at to high a cost. If u compare Killzone 2 to Killzone 3 you'll notice a significantly lessoned amount of enemies, destruction and physics related effects. These things actually contribute to the immersion of the game. The same goes for the transition between Uncharted 2 and 3. In addition to loss of physics and enemies there was also some weird thing that made in game face textures...

Gameplay-story-graphics-histor ical accuracy, in that order....the history adds to the believability of the setting, and is good for getting nods from intellectuals, but if the story is shit none of that really matters

Heavy Rain really would b awesome or maybe even a new game from the same developer
