Actually I used to read those all the time as a kid. Loved 'em! But you have to admit, playing a CYOAB is a lot more fun than reading one.

It just doesn't treat gamers like a 5 year old with a frontal lobotomy.
I enjoyed the shit out of DS and I passed the first level without dying once. Not that hard to be honest. Some later levels will crush you, but that just means your doing something wrong. I died quite a few times before learning the correct places to wear the thiefs ring. ;)

This game is criminally underrated. It's easily the best arcade racer this gen.
ME is a hardcore platformer. I loved every second of it. The author (bitcher) of this article should just stick to playing Mario.

The swinging mechanic was spot on and the arm abilities are pretty cool.

As a big fan of platformers (and I know you are too) I found the swinging mechanic to be frikin awesome. The story is utter crap but the gameplay is sweet. I picked it up a Kmart for $10 the other week and platinumed it. Best bargan game I've bought since picking up Beyond Good & Evil for $15.

Those are not good reasons. I need my TRICO info!! Anything would have been fine. Could just have had a Dev talk about it for 5 minutes with a new screen shot behind him and that would have been awesome! A new 1 minute trailer would have been mind blowing!!
