JC2 is the most fun open world game i've played.
the problem is: those "shitty" side stories matter and I hate it. When I jumped onto KH2 after KH1 I was lost because I didn't know how the fuck did they end up there because I didn't play KH:COM.

when you read those bad reviews you'll see that they all have one thing in common: they complain about being it difficult.
they aren't really a good reviewers if they don't at least become decent at it before writing a shitty review.
God of War 1 and ICO can also be beaten under 4 hours yet no one even said a word about it.
