Think the article was focusing on this part:
"So when asked how they will "market the PS3 at the moment," Maguire clearly said Sony wants to focus on the games."
Then continues on to this:
""It's a really difficult question, that one, because when we first started - because all the functionality was radical - we talked about that functionality. And in doing that, maybe we weren't strong enough on the games side of it. Now, w...
Oh crap, oh man...I need a PSN card fast, need to get those street fighter costumes [Just the chun-li one] and now I need to get this level pack, darnit why did they have to put it on a timer T_T.
Though this is pretty nice, that they can keep releasing levels for the game, kind of makes me wonder what else they can do. After playing through the In-game levels that they made, and enjoying them I'm sure I'll enjoy more of the ones they are making for now and for later release :)
Yeah I've noticed the amount of money it takes to build one from the ground up, my sister took that route and so far it seems good; but she has to upgrade now after going 5 years or so without doing one (At least I think it's 5?)
Also satisfied with the PS3, and just awaiting for the Wii games to come here, if they take to long just going to freeload them and bring them over from Japan. MHtri~ and Tatsunoko Vs Capcom will keep me busy enough along with various games for the PS3 ...
Agreed with all, though to me it seems that Sony is trying to find the right type of console to stick with [they have had so many floating about.] Once they have found one to stick with and games coming out left and right I could see that price cut happening. Just as well, it seems to be taking the way the PS2 did. A bit of a rocky start at first before becoming widely popular even after it passed it's expected life-span.
I also agree with that part about the end of next year ju...
Yep that's what I've started to do and noticed a few trends with Microsoft sometimes throwing their 360 titles onto the PC platform. Probably should save up for a new pc since my other got 'destroyed' basically and only the laptop works, but eh. As long as I can do homework and stuff on the laptop as well as playing a wide assortment of games I really don't need to. On the other hand the 360 isn't to terribly bad, wouldn't be a lot of games that I'd want on it for the first time [many of them...
You can buy an extended warranty. I get what your saying I do, but I think the reason Microsoft extended was because of all the faults with older models wasn't it? The warranty before Microsoft increased it was about a year or something like that? Due to all the complaints and such they would have had to.
Anyway yeah, you can just get an extended warranty [forgot where my sister got hers] but it's 3 year warranty and was about 50 or something. I'd have to ask her again what the ...
Finally! now I just have to go to the store and find a 360 preferably one of the jasper models. Wasn't even going to attempt to look until I could find one of those models, but now that I know how to tell which is the newer models. Might just buy one for my birthday since it's in February.
[edit]
yep ultim, see one disagree and the rest follow suit, even though I stated I would be getting one and more than like the jasper model. Gosh it's so easy to be hated on this site :...
Nice analogy :p
I also agree with your point ultimolu I thought Microsoft would have fought hard to alleviate the problem and done a bit more to fix that and the disc scratching, but so far it seems the new chipset is the newest edition and that's pretty much it. Though I haven't heard much of it actually helping or what not, so no clue if it actually works well or not. :/
Scared of getting one but I'm going to consider getting one just to see. Most of my co-workers have 360s I think I'm the only one with a PS3 :p. Theirs haven't RRoD on them as of yet. Though I mainly don't want to buy one until I know if that new chipset model actually helps keep the RRoD from happening. Until then I can only stick with the Wii PS3 for now, perhaps next year I will buy one if I haven't heard a lot of bad press on the new chipset model.
Can't really condone the be...
I could be extremely sarcastic with that, but I won't :p. I get what you were saying now, just had to make sure I was reading it right.
"We'll be patching Home this Thursday and part of this change will be the first step in tackling the connection issues that you'll know as C-931 errors."
Thank you, hopefully this will help those that are still having some trouble with getting in Home and perhaps may alleviate those who suddenly get disconnected from the server.
XD nice site, very nice.
"I don’t actually believe the Xbox 360 needs saving. Far from it. I actually think all three home consoles are doing well enough to ensure a long and healthy generation. But if other Web sites can make stupid arguments for why certain consoles are in trouble then so can I. Tomorrow, it’s the turn of the Wii. Damn, that’s going to be tough."
This rings of truth, the 360 definitely does NOT need to be saved, Microsoft is moving their ...
Good more marketing towards games would be ideal, if I hadn't come to this site as well as a few others I probably wouldn't have known about half of the games as I do now. (White Knight Chronciles, Valkyrie Chronicles, LittleBigPlanet, etc.)
"Software sells hardware, plain and simple. So it seems Sony will take this tact in the near future when it comes to advertising the PS3, and we figure that's the best thing to do. Far too many clueless ones out there still make idiotic ...
The PSP as an MP3 player would be nice, then I could delete some music off of it. If the range is long enough then I would probably just use my PSP instead of my MP3 when doing work outside.
As for that legal aspect, I think Sony should know by now that sharing has occurred amongst friends this would be no different. Sooner or later someone is going to find a way to get the streaming feature to work inside of home [ probably in the theater and I won't be surprised.]

XD bubbles to both Lol!
Glad someone got to proving CNN wrong just like I did here:
http://n4g.com/NewsCom-2455...
CNN seemed like they are just trying to stir people opinion, one way over the other.
America's Next Top Model
Lost: Via Domus
Didn't know anyone would consider those games...
Agree with the Television though being that I'm also for music streaming I'd like to add that perhaps it should also be able to stream music. That way the people in Home could just ask for one item [the TV] that will be able to play Shows,Movies, and Music on it. I'm also hoping we can full-screen it to!
I know Second Life has something like this, but I can't full screen it. I've watched at least 3 movies in that program back in the summer when I started out, it's pretty good. Q...
Weren't they talking of using trophies for monetary things? I don't know if it's rumor or fact, but I remember reading an article about it which can be seen here:
http://www.ps3blog.co.za/20...
Being that most people have trophies already [quite a bit I might add] doesn't seem like it will be much of a problem. Though again I don't know if it's true or not.
Ha, well I'll be there :p seems like it would be fun and interesting, probably will forget about it anyway though and go on with my life.
