Not all ps3's can play ps2, get it through your head. That is included for the ps3's that do indeed play ps2 games.

The work around is the same thing geohot tried to use and for some reason it is back up. It will be down again in a day or two at most. After it was shut down the first time, geohot retired ;)

Your are correct, mgs4 bundle 80 gig had the emotion engine emulated, while the gpu was still hardware. Backups of ps2 games only apply to the models that already can play them.
