">>>PCIe 3.0 and 4.0 drives run in lockstep<<<, but SATA SSDs exhibit more significant pauses - causing this portal sequence to take around 10% longer."
This has been shown in various ways, you can put faster or slower drives in a PS5 or a PC and the loading times are the same....
Let me guess a streaming device exactly like the portal except the press will declare it the best thing ever even if it cost double what the PlayStation Portal costs...
As far as I can tell the earliest it was announced that BG was going to release late on xbox was February 2023, these documents are from way before that.
This was clearly a dig at the game and it's Stadia support, not any of this propaganda...
I don't believe the reporting on Starfield success either. The numbers just don't add up.
Microsoft reports 6m players but then it's reported that Starfield was the 5'th best selling game ahead of FF16 which we know had sold 3.5m+ by the end of it's first month. So that means that to be ahead of FF16 at this point they would have needed to sell at a minimum 4m, which would then only leave 2m people who played it through game pass.
This should be a wake up notice to other developers about what Microsoft thinks you're games might be worth and what they are willing to pay you if they get their cloud gaming subscription only future.
You mean like when Microsoft raised the cost of game pass even though it was already basically twice as expensive as PSPlus? Or how they no longer even give you monthly games or anything you even get to keep.
And let me remind you the only reason Microsoft wasn't announcing their game price increase was because they had nothing to release until a month ago and they had to buy a whole publisher to get that game which of course cost $69.99.
This should be a wake up notice to other developers about what Microsoft thinks you're games might be worth and what they are willing to pay you if they get their cloud gaming subscription only future.
I can't wait to see how Microsoft bends you over when they have no competition from Sony and their games are 0% ownership because they are all cloud only with no competition from retail or resale.
Oh well it's exactly what people who supported them deserve.
I'm not sure what your talking about Neil Druckman has confirmed that they are working on a single player project and have more than one team working on games.
Why is Sony the other company that can't monetize it's games? Let's see you talk about Forza where they sell all the cars and tracks as DLC on top of having a battlepass...
I just find the whole premise that somehow if Sony hasn't announced a game that games aren't coming.....
Why do you think Kojima even wants to make another Metal Gear? He pretty much made nothing but Metal Gear for 20 years. Now he is free to work on whatever he wants.
And the thing he clearly wants to work on is Death Stranding with people who share his creative vision as well as celebrities who are part of a social group he wants to be part of.
I don't understand how they can get away with trying to charge like this for preexisting games that should be limited to their existing agreement. This is a clear bait and switch scam.
The problem is they set expectations way to high and described how the game would work in ways that were at best half truths.
Then they also waited till the last few days to talk about some of the important limitations and only after setting false expectations about those issues months earlier so most people thought the game was going to be something it clearly wasn't.
It's the same pattern Microsoft has been pulling...
