I think at the moment it's more of a matter of coming from a man's perspective. More men make games and relate more to men than women. Just like books written by women are more likely to feature a female lead.
We would all love for this, but it just doesn't make sense for Nintendo. Financially they're still incredibly successful. Jumping 3rd party would be the very last case scenario. For now, you support the wii u for its lifetime and try again.
