you're joking right?
What do you want, an ozempic woman?
To be fair, they said that about Helldivers 2 when it was first shown.
His response doesn't tell us who he does/ doesn't know regardless of how long he was away from Microsoft. Again, we don't know this man's personal life or professional contacts to speak on such.
And who in the world told me an opinion can't be misleading info, living my life all these years tells me that. If you're presenting an opinion that should tell you it's not fact. No rational thinking person will sit here and misconstrue the two.

@SimulationDaily
He may not be in the xbox loop anymore. But he'd surely have a better idea than any of us random people commenting would.
And how to WE know he doesn't know any single person involved? It's not like we can see the man's contact list or know his life personally. And all he did was give his opinion. He never said it was fact. An opinion is not misleading info. If he tried to pass off his opinion as FACT, then you'd have ...
THIS is why if Sony had to let someone go, it should have been Nixxes and not Bluepoint.
If you're going to pivot away from PC releasing and you need to offload, Nixxes should have been the one. People still wanted remasters and remakes, which is why Bluepoint should still be around.
That's just it darth72, it more than likely isn't the truth because we know she didn't have control over everything at Xbox. That would be Phil Spencer, who has Don Mattrick's old position.
And to be fair, even he can't be blamed for everything since it's highly unlikely all this goes on without Nadella's blessing at some point
Exactly, they always have to pin it on someone. Everything was Don Mattrick's fault before. Now everything is Sarah Bond's fault.
People act like these companies don't have focus groups, board meetings, focus testing, etc for these ideas before they hit.
They'd rather blame her rather than the product they asked her to market. How else was she going to market playing your xbox games on any device? Has anyone stopped to think that the marke...
Ok, even though Sony tries out more new IP than a good portion of the industry, you want them to make a collection of a franchise that struggled to make profit?
I loved Motorstorm too, but get real, there's a reason they stopped making that series even before Driveclub
Sad that Living Single is the only thing most of us know him for outside of voicing Kratos.
I'll add to what Nyxus and Eonjay said
Another reason is trolls are allowed to run rampant. So the few times discussions might happen, they get derailed fast.
There's also the fact that they're more strict on what gets approved now compared to what they were back in the day.
But so many grifter channels on Youtube said the DLC and/or updates for Yotei was abandoned....
Unfortunately, you're right
Now those same grifters will make a bunch of excuse videos as to why they were wrong and not take accountability for actually BEING wrong. They win either way because they don't care about truth or facts, only how much adsense revenue they can grab up. So they'll say whatever they have to as long as their audience wants to hear it.
Wait,
The same congress that attacked Lina Khan when she fought the Microsoft Activision purchase.
The same congress that allowed Disney to buy 90% of Fox
The same congress that allowed Liv Golf to buy the PGA
The same congress that sits back while Paramount tries a hostile takeover despite losing the bid for Warner Bros.
NOW, the suddenly cares about doing what's "right" for works? Yeah, right.
....don't give them ideas.....
Exactly,
Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel for their ENTIRE existence, etc.
They've always touched society and political issues. They've only began acting like it's an issue because they need something(s) to attach their dog whistles to.
Let's be real,
This is just code for " only make games that fit what I like/want".
If a game doesn't "fit' his way of thinking, it's an "agenda".
Dude needs to just man up.
That's the reality.
When these dev studios allowed themselves to be purchased it was well documented what Facebook/ Meta were all about. I don't advocate anyone losing employment, but they knew who they were dealing with.
I don't play all those gatcha games or games from that region either. I was just pointing out how we tend to "look the other way" collectively depending on if we like a dev or company or not. They should be subject to the same level of backlash.
Now look, we all gave EA and others gripe when they spoke about AI. But now that Shift Up and Larian are showing how open they are to using it, they need to be treated the same way. We can't look the other way just because it's a developer(s) that we like.
Except she's not overweight so what's your point? There is no "nuance" here to lose.
