I don't see the PS3 lettering coming off the side.... I think you might need to look closer. Looks good to me even though the lettering looks ugly and you can't see it on the PS3 on the boxart
Actually it's about the same time line as when they slimmed down the PS2 and PSP. They did it in their 3rd year of release. So I think the time is right for Sony. And I don't know why you think people would be upset. Anytime you buy electronics you should already know that something better or a price change would be coming down the road.

This looks real to me. What they are showing also is only the top half of the unit. Box is what worries me. If it was slimmer Sony would show that on the box. The way they have it positioned doesn't show the slimness of it
Pics look real to me. That is only the top half of the Slim PS3. The box looks too good but the problem that I have is the way they have the PS3 on the box, If it was a redesign I think Sony would show it off on the box, by showing it upwards or tilted.

The thing I would question is SCEE's response. Instead of saying the regular old "We don't comment on rumors or speculation" They decided to just flat out deny it. It seems strange to me. They seem to just want us to stop talking about that. I think it might be true. The only hardware redesign I could think of is the PS3. That would be great price drop with a PS3 slim. The only thing I would want is for them to stop locking game saves. I want to be able to take my save and game to a friends house or from my PS3 in the living room to the one PS3 slim in my bedroom.

All games do repeat, but the difference is on how fun the game is after you do these repetitious task. I loved Assassin's Creed, but after a while I got tire of gathering intel and sneaking around, so I just fought my way through the last couple of missions.
now lets say COD. You do go from point A to point B and kill stuff. But that is the fun part, killing stuff.
The whole point is for it not to feel repetitious.

These look too nice to be fake. The infamous bundle just makes me want to buy another PS3, that sh!t is nice.
I don't think so. I won't invest in anymore Microsoft hardware after my Zune and my 360 died. The only thing they are good with on the hardware side are their keyboards and mice, no problems yet.
