If TLOU takes its relationships serious then how come ellie being gay wasn't in the spotlight with the TLOU 1 dlc ?
Simple, they wanted the buzz to be arround her relationship, not the actual gameplay itself, and this is why i fault them

not by any stretch of the imagination, quantum break was just good, an easy 7.5, Alan wake was meh, bored me to death with the light mechanics
Sony had the perfect plan: shock and awe with last of us 2, put some filler games and announcements until we change rooms instead of taking big screen time, then give a deeper look to our upcoming exclusives with a sprinkle of new announcements . The execution though... was not the best

i think your'e reading too much into it, looking back at uncharted trailers and even the first teaser for last of us part 2 - which set the tone perfectly may i add- none of that was forced like this scene was.
i'll put it this way: i'm a big fan of this game, definitely a day one, but Neil chose this scene just for the sake of it, there was no deeper meaning behind choosing it, nothing at all. He could've picked a way better scene for settin...
Even sony wanted to manage expectations so you won't end up like this. With that said it was still a pretty solid show
Game looked really good, i see they also saw the potential in quantum break's mechanics and put it in this game. I really hope remedy can reclaim their max payne glory days

Exactly what i was thinking, it felt a little shoehorned in the trailer, would had more effect if it was left to be experienced first hand a-la last of us dlc, i love lesbians and i think they are the best thing to happen to this world but this is just showing for showing
Also division is pretty much established with division 1, they got a pulse on the market and what players want, and now they know that end game matters so hopefully they won't screw it up, anthem on the other hand is a newcomer, also EA. But let's see how they both turn out
