The permanent upgrades in Returnal are just more than ether. Returnal gives you entire traits and weapon upgrades/damage/defense using a lot that weapon. And he complains about "losing time" because those things are not permanent. He just didn't notice it, because it's a feature that the game doesn't tell you openly, lol
Has IGN just called "good" and "endgame" something you can literally do everytime in the game?
Walking at your own pacing? Exploring? Fighting enemies with more instruments? Pick whatever delivery you want?
Are they admitting they rushed through the game or what?
It's strange, when it's Nolan talking. He has never played any of the Uncharted games, like you can here in his gameplay with Baker. He just started the first one in these months, and I think he never finished it. He said also he barely plays videogames at all. Baker had to explain him how a controller works.
I really, really hope that Avengers turns out well. But on what basis I have to believe him?
Well, I completed the games a week ago, and while I don't think 6 is a correct score, I agree with them on most of the points. Story and storytelling is terrible, much worse than in the others, and action is indeed pretty simple and straightforward. Only at half of the adventure I decided to go into a menu to power up myself.
On the fanservice part... well, they are correct also on that. The last two or three hours (the only hours where you can find a plot), are all fan...
I finished the game last week, and I can assure you that the last rumor is really, really wrong ;)
The stupidest thing I have read about God of War in the last year. And I'm talking after reading of people that thinks all reviewers are paid by Sony.
Babysitting could be fun and couldn't, it depends from the game and how much of a burder this kid represent. The irony is: in GoW you aren't babysitting, Atreus is immortal. He can only help O_o
Better you played the previous games. Story-wise, it's very linked
Reviewer here: axe is not the only weapon. Rest easy. They hid the best, in trailers and info.
The game has not 2 worlds, as this review says
Yes, you got the point. There are 9 realms in the game, but like 7 explorabile. I don't know if I missed something, though.
Already finished the game, and I think it's fake.
They talk about two explorable realms in the game, and the number is extremly false.
Plus: talking about low difficulty in a game where there are 4 different settings is a bit stupid. The last difficulty is insane.
Can confirm. Playing the game by a week, and while the first level runs smoothly, the rest is usually a mess. Nothing bad as blight town, though.
That was clear already in the Nadine Presentation Trailer. Nathan was walking among people saying "Mi scusi", the italian method to say "Excuse me".
This map remember someone a heist, or a flashback for Sam e Nathan? Do you remember, in the beginning of Uncharted 2, when Flynn says to Nathan that there is only one person capable of doing that steal, referring to Nathan? Because two already died doing that and he was the only one who survived? I think we could have a clue here.
Speaking of plot, for me, yes. Obviously, it's a personal thing. But I think that Quiet is the character that better show us the "phantom pain" moral and one of the only characters to have a closed story-line. Now, even that is stupid.
MGSV only has one thing right. The "phantom pain" after you lose Quiet. Well done, Konami, you destroyed the last good bit of the game and put the last nail in this stupid coffin.
Zero FPS?
Scram, Dark Souls's Blighttown, we have a new king here.
To be honest, you can, at least in Uncharted 2. When you finish the game once, in cheat mode you can choose every weapon you want, included tranquilizer gun. If yu want to "rewrite" history, then replay Uncharted 2 only with tranquilizer and POOF, Nathan didn't kill anyone XD
Anyway, dumbest topic I ever read. I dare anyone to find an action/adventure game where the main character doesn't kill anyone. Even Nintendo characters kills monsters and little creatu...
@nacho: Yes, not only they were lying, but all the shootings in every arena are progress. They upgrade your weapon forever. Even if you play 1 minute, you have progress that you can't lose :)
