Marketing campaigns, for all types of products and services are aimed at demographics. Things like sex, age and income factor into characterising groups of people. Being a basketball fan doesn't factor in.
Killzone 2 is a great FPS; best shooter in '09-- one of the top shooters this generation. I just hope people realise thiis. Halo Reach is going to be the one to look out for, and it will be a great game. /End
SE are just followers. If Uncharted sold 20 mil copies, they'd say the same thing about it. Matter of fact, I wish they would take inspiration from Uncharted; now, that's a great adventure game. Halo? COD? Yeah, ok. Funny how that's the 360's crowd two and only favorite games.
A $199 Xbox didn't stop people from buying a $299 PS3; nor will this bundle stop people from buying a PS3 for FFXIII.
Why would it matter to those who can play GOW 3 when they can play this game also? If anyone has an agenda its those who can't play GOW 3 at all and never will.
And this game has almost no hype, even after the demo has been released on both consoles. Feelings of uncertainty are not exclusive to one console base. We'll see though... I too thought the demo was just OK.

GOW was inspired by a lot, not only DMC. It brought a lot of new ideas to the action genre and did it better than any other game. QTE's for example... Which both Bayonetta and DI use.

This isn't a PSN, Live, Sony, or Microsoft thing. It's a server side issue on the developer's part.

Fallot 3 was one of the only games I did spend a great deal of time with; collecting all of the trophies/ achievements, the quests, and just enjoying the great atmosphere of the game.
Having modifications to weapons in New Vegas could change up the combat strategies and become just as addicting as the game itself. Not to sure the main plot will be the main distraction for to many people.
